I have had over three different price quotes, contracts, etc. with this company since I booked this wedding. Would not recommend this company to anyone, but I'll hold my breath as to posting a negative review on trip advisor or the better business bureau until I actually get married (keeping in mind that by the time my wedding comes they may have stopped having weddings altogether). If people hadn't already booked their flights, I would have changed locations long ago because of the lack of attention to detail, inability to hold to and/or accurately quote prices and ignoring of emails. Don't do your wedding at this place if you value communication.

Your pictures are gorgeous! Glad to see that the bouquet was included. Love it! Did they also do any center pieces for you? How much was the rehearsal dinner? I was thinking about having one, but it's still one of those maybe/maybe not things. Congrats!!!

I have tried to ask Tiara a gazillion different ways as to what bouquets come with the package and what is extra. I have also tried a to ask her about prices for decorations etc. to absolutely no avail. How dang hard is it for a place to be able to give you an itemized, detailed price list. I don't want the bouquets start at x. I need specifics. Does anyone have any tips for getting real, complete answers from this woman???

While I can't speak to the Ontario part, I was told that I had to present my marriage certificate to them before they would do a symbolic ceremony. You can just bring it with you.

So...I am just starting on the wedding planning and going through the forums. The forums alone are overwhelming enough, but I have to keep looking up an abbreviation in google - asking myself...what is that?!? Trying to google the abbreviation STD in relation to weddings comes up with some really odd results, just by the way. Is there a list of common abbreviations anywhere and if so where?

And me...July 30, 2011 Â This thread is a little overwhelming...so much info... Â I am just so lost on where to even begin...when should start expecting more contact from the wedding coordinator...all I have gotten is a confirmation letter...

Guess the title says it all. I am making my way through the Dreams La Romana forum. However, I haven't seen any current information on excursions and trips off the "compound" (aka resort). I would really like some info on the artist colony, the cigar factory, restaurants (not in the resort), and other activities. If you can point me to a forum or provide info, I would greatly appreciate it. Â TIA. )
