    Welcome to BDW! There is tons of great ideas.. check out some different threads, all resort are different-Check out Beaches Resort in Negril. I'm getting married there 2012 we have a few kids to bring or it would have been the sandals resort.. anyhow I hope this helps! Happy planning

    My family & I keep getting diff quotes .. from TA to website. ie. my sister is getting the same $ quote as I do for the whole wedding! Hoping for early 2012 but, no one can give me a straight answer! I'm A type and need to plot things out meticulously.. I may change the resort all together  I hope your making out better now

I've started mine & I'm not getting married until 2012! lol Congrats & I can't wait to see your pics from Mexico. Great job on the OOT bags! Nice to see what is avail. in Canada ( I'm terrified of going into Michael's w/o supervision or a plan LOL)

    Ah facebook the perpetual crackbook.. I posted our rel.change on FB quite sometime after my FI & I decided to get married. But, he forgot to call and inform his mum (she lives 3000km from us) So she phoned and gave him quite an earful. But she was all giggles and yay's w/ me lol I'm busy planning my STD cards to mail out.. had to post a msg for all to send me their updated addy's w. me on FB so, it does have it's advantages

    I am selling my MOH dress from my sister's wedding. Size 10 Black full length mermaid. cream shrug, front altered slightly to pin in 'girls' Original length. Beautiful cut on any shape. I've posted a pic of all of us wearing the dress (also the only pic I could find that showed the length) purchased at LeChateau asking $60 +shipping

    I've tried spanx.. Cannot stand the roll down & it looks like i've been spliced w/ one heck of a muffintop. So I bought a one pc. from Shear shapewear on the shopping channel & Love It! It's from thigh to bust w/ built in bra, bra has a deep plunge so it fits well under everything. larger gusset than spanx as well. It's spun as one pc so it smoothes everything really tight w/o felling bound up.. the material is cotton so sweat wicks off too not caught up under the garment.

    Thank you, past Beaches brides! What an awesome thread! I'm getting married May 2012 at Beaches Negril, & I'm so excited to get planning, but I am spinning tires. Did anyone reserve the date and put the group code on the STD cards? I'm not really crazy on booking a block of rooms.. I really appreciate all the great pics, It's nice to see the resort w/o the marketing tools. I look forward to all your advice & insight ladies!

    Great Job! Your pics are great! Very romantic. The only thing I may consider revising is the pages seem to be quite dark for writing, ( I'm assuming you'll have a silver gel pen or something) If you have any older guests, they may have a hard time reviewing their message.. Just a thought. I love the DIY book! Well Done!

    I think niajs has a solid point, If your BM has you stressed out your better off w/o her.. Arn't they to help relive stress from the bride?.. Try not to give it too much thought & try to go on with your plans w/o her.. maybe she'll come around & realize you would really like her there to celebrate with you.. maybe her fiance has a suggestion as too how to get her to come.. maybe an ativan for the flight? I hope you can resolve this and enjoy both weddings. Cheers!~
