I like TAKathy's wording much better. It's a lot more polite. I agree with @@calgarybride2015. It is your wedding and you're entitled to invite whoever you please. I realize the deadline has come and gone but I'm old fashioned and I just have a problem with this. Yes - it's extremely rude on their part for not answering or talking to you or anything else but I'm sorry to say I find this a little rude as well. What would you have done if they had accepted months ago and put a deposit down to travel with you? Work relationships are never perfect and there are plenty of times not everyone in an office is included in something that is a personal event. I just don't think it was right to invite them in the first place if you didn't want them there. Probably not what you want to hear.

Wedding Dress Shopping Dilemma
acw271011 replied to helenk's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Very pretty! Who is the designer? -
You will have a fabulous wedding! Your date is my birthday so that's your guarantee it will be great! lol

I did a quick forum search and there are a couple of things that came up in the search that you may want to read. Just go to the top and key in the name. Most of the comments seem to be in connection to a Moon Palace forum, not sure why. Good luck.

Unique Destination Wedding Guest Book
acw271011 replied to Sabes44's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
Very true! And as you get older it gets worse! Time goes so quickly and once children are around it goes even faster. i tell my husband every single day that I love him. In the beginning he asked me why and said that he knew I loved him and that I didn't have to tell him every day. I told him that if anything ever happens to either one of us, I don't ever want the last thought to be "did he knew how much I love him" or his last thought to be "I wonder if she loved me". It's very easy to forget that in the business of life! A time capsule is a totally neat idea!!! -
Palmtree99's Planning Thread...7/29/15

I love the centerpiece!! it's so pretty with the candles and the stones in the bottom! It absolutely works!! -
Bikini Village? Not sure if that's US or just Canadian. VS usually has sales online - I'm surprised at the $120 price tag. When I looked they were cheaper than that. I know there are other lingerie sellers that also do swimsuits. We have La Vie En Rose here and they do them. Sorry - that's probably not much help.

Have you looked at Tygrlily's planning thread? I think she did something with music. My old age is showing because I'm drawing a blank. Take a look through the thread for your resort and see what other options there might be. Sounds to me like adding an hour with a DJ might be cheaper than what you were quoted.

The ladies are all right. I think what you have sounds great and your guests will be happy with getting all of that. The bags are meant to be a thank you rather than favours the way you would with a wedding at home. When I came on this site 4 years ago I had no idea what OOT was or why you would do bags. Most people don't so I think you're good.

Congrats and welcome! Have you looked at any of the reviews here to see what past brides have said about the resorts you're looking at? As well, do you have a travel agent? Absolutely a must! They will work with you on rates and rooms and help your guests with their bookings as well. Not sure if you're in the US or Canada but if in the US there is Wright Travel that are affiliated with this site and work with a lot of the brides from here. If you're in Canada, there are several that the ladies here have used. Definitely take a read through the forums and the reviews and see that there is. Good luck!

Do you have a travel agent? What about talking to them if you do have one? if not, I would absolutely look at getting one. You could get in touch with the agents affiliated with this site - Wright Travel. they're destination wedding specialists and have access to tons of info on resorts. Maybe even some little extras depending on the resort you choose. Wouldn't hurt to get in touch with them and see if they can help you out. http://wrighttravelagency.com/inquiry/ Good luck and happy planning!

My son wore one on his helmet when he did one of his car races. I had to stop watching because the speed was so real it was making me sick! I don't know what the model was though. The clarity was pretty good but I can definitely see where wearing it might be a problem for some people! lol If you get a hand held I think it would be a good substitute for a videographer as long as it's someone with steady hands.

I read through all 48 pages over the weekend and even though it's not adults only I think I'm leaning very strongly towards this resort. I was digging around for stuff today and came across the attached article which might be of interest to the ladies planning their weddings! http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20141030005234/en/Azul-Fives-Hotel-Karisma-Debut-40-Million#.VKq8BGfQeUk Good luck to all of you!

Congrats and welcome! Firstly a good travel agent is a definite "need". Your travel agent will your new bff as you go through your planning journey. I will guess you're in the US - the Administrator of this site is a Cabo bride herself and is part of Wright Travel. They're destination wedding specialists and have gained some of the highest level awards available from excellent resort chains. They will work with you to find out what you want to spend, what your criteria are for your wedding and how many guests you think you might be expecting. You'll need to have an idea before you can go with any wedding packages as some charge extra per person. They will also help you out with perks that you might be entitled to depending on what resort you chose and the number of guests/rooms you end up with. I've included the link to contacting them. Definitely worth a shot. You'll find information is going to be a must and the more you can get the better. http://www.wrighttravelagency.com/go/plan-your-destination-wedding?keyword=BDWSB-wta You'll definitely find a ton of information on this site and the ladies are very willing to share their tips and ideas as well as what they've learned. Good luck and happy planning!

My best suggestion would be to check out the forums for your resort. I looked and there are several and you may find more brides that way that are also doing their planning. Congrats on setting your date and happy planning!

Congrats! Your pics are stunning and I love the colours!! Very cool! I noticed you have some shots out on the pier - do you know with a very small group if you can have an actual ceremony out there? Is there a cost and if so do you know what it is? I'm struggling with getting a resort. Really struggling in fact. We're a really small group just for a renewal and I know I'm being really picky. I've gone around a few times over Azul Fives and originally it was because it's a family resort. I wanted adults only very close to Playa but the price points are just too high.

Congrats and welcome! Moon Palace is a very popular resort with the ladies here so there is no shortage of information that should help you on your planning adventure! I hope you have a good travel agent helping you out as that will be important over the coming months. Here are links to two of the discussion forums that will give you a start. Definitely spend some time reading through as there is a lot of content. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/71504-moon-palace-2014/ http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/78216-2015-2016-moon-palace-brides/ Good luck and happy planning!!

Air Transat Carry On Luggage
acw271011 replied to kellymiller's topic in Canadian Destination Wedding Group
You could always just put the dry cleaning style plastic bags between the items but still put them all in the same garment bag if only for your own peace of mind. I don't think it will transfer at all, but why take the chance, right? Just as an FYI, Transat does have allowed luggage dimensions on their website for carry on and checked bags so you could take a look. Out of Pearson I know it has to be able to fit through the guides that they keep there. We flew Transat and they are a little looser I think with carry on than Air Canada but be prepared for them to double check at the airport. -
Welcome! I was married in Jamaica In October 3 years ago and Rose Hall was on our original short list. In the end we were married at Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica and loved it! The final determining factor just ended up being the price point, nothing more. Jamaica is a beautiful place to get married and the people are wonderful! We had fantastic weather but it was definitely still quite hot. We had a short afternoon shower just after our wedding but then the sun came back out and it was hot all over again. You'll find a ton of information here that I know will be helpful. Good luck and happy planning!
