  1. jszy10- Thank you for posting your day-of schedule! It just made everything seem a little closer and a lot more real! We are getting married on June 18th at Cabo Azul in San Jose del Cabo. 2. When I was single I would have considered it if he was the right person. Would you ever marry someone 10 years younger than you?
  3. I got a used Debbie Gibson "Out of the Blue" tape cassette for Christmas one year -- 2004!!! And no, it wasn't a white elephant party.
  4. No, everything comes out of a special "wedding" account that we share, so no secrets, but maybe a few surprises (like the cost of my dress)! Would you ever tell a happy bride-to-be that her fiancé had cheated on her the year before? What if her wedding was a week away?
  5. Anyone else have suggestions or know of another thread that may have an answer? Thank you!
  6. This is a late reply-- but I know how you feel. My two MOHs live out of the country (one in Singapore, the othernin Calgary), and I have another bm that lives in Hong Kong. We've had to be really good at email and Skype! Thankfully, they are all wedding pros and have been really helpful and understanding. . The biggest problem is ordering the dresses -- they will all be in the States for the bachelorette, but that's the only time they'll have to try on and alter the dresses. The good news is that it has all worked out so far! Good luck!
  7. Congrats in your engagement! I had trouble with colors too. I started by browsing through real weddings on theknot.com and marthastewartweddings.com to see what others had done. Originally I wanted to do orange and hot pink, but couldn't imagine making my 7 bridesmaids buy an orange dress. I completely changed directions and am now doing white, navy, and kelly green! If you search this site for wedding colors you will see other threads on this topic with great ideas. Good luck!
  8. My FSIL just sent me a website that let's you design or modify your own wedding shoes! This is great because I need a specific heel height, and I can choose the height of my shoe! Brilliant! Has anyone used this site before? http://www.milkandhoneyshoes.com
  9. I am a teacher, and yesterday I was away all day at a meeting. While I was gone, my first graders decided that they wanted to put on a play. They organized it, practiced at recess, and agreed to bring costumes for today. They did a full dress rehearsal at each recess and then performed for their "Buddy" class this afternoon, and even though the "Prince Charming" bailed at the last minute, it was a huge success. SO cute, and I love that they did it all on their own. They were so proud of themselves, and so happy! I was beaming, too.
