  1. I once had tea with the "High Chiefton" of a desert oasis in Morocco (looooong story). I lived and worked in the Canary Islands (Grand Canaria, Spain) for two years. I feel really guilty about using plastic water bottles but I use them every day anyway. The first time that I saw my fiance I had a gut feeling that I had met my future husband. I am horribly allergic to avocados... which sucks, because I love them.
  2. Love! Traveling without an itinerary?
  3. BUMP!! Bike: 10 Elliptical: 35 Treadmill cool down: 5 Weights: arms
  4. For my honeymoon? Like! For work or moving? Dislike! Deciding on flowers for your wedding?
  5. I have EIGHT friends who cannot come to my wedding (including two bridesmaids) because they are pregnant and will either just have had their babies or are too prego to fly. That is my only regret, although it was totally unforeseeable! When did you know that your fiance was the "One"?
  6. Green: recycle PS - This thread is helping me get to 150 posts!!!! Thanks, ladies!!!
  7. We were there in April last year and it was POURING! The good news is that everyone we asked said it was really unusual weather and it hardly ever rained. If it does rain, it's supposed to last for an hour or two and then clear up. Since we got the "highly unusual" weather out of the way for you last year, I'm sure it'll be perfect this year!!
  8. I know! 151 more days (thanks to The Knot for my countdown)! I am having trouble with posting pictures and links. My pictures were posted and visible for the first few weeks, but then they mysteriously disappeared. I also haven't figured out how to post website links -- have you had any luck with any of this? Thanks!
  9. These look so beautiful and modern! I LOVE how you took pictures of each step! Thank you!!
  10. I think you are right! I know it would make my aunt and uncle's trip easier!
  11. Thanks for your response, Tlseege! I know that my aunt, uncle and cousin will come regardless of if the friend comes or not; the friend would come solely to entertain the cousin. The 150 is maximum capacity refers to both the ceremony and reception venue (the accommodation part is fine). I'd love for everyone to bring whom they want, but we've already cut down our list so much! I think my cousin is worried that she'll have no one to "hang out" with because it is an all adult event.
  12. Hi Ladies, I love my aunt to death and she's been very good to me. However, I feel really awkward about a request she made: Can her 17 year old daughter bring a friend to the wedding? Usually I wouldn't care (and if I were 17 I'd want to bring a friend too!), but we have room for 150 guests maximum at our resort and we think that 130-150 are coming (100 have already booked rooms and flights and we haven't even sent out the invites). Plus, we didn't even give our groomsmen a "plus one" if they were single! Because they are family, this random girl would also have to be included at our intimate rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Do I dare say no, or suck it up and say yes? What would you do?
  13. Like-- especially if it's Breyers Perfume?
