OMG! Had the BEST bridal shower this weekend and our engagment photos!!! I love being engaged and felt like a true bride this weekend! Can't believe the wedding is almost here....

Monica! You looked beautiful! It looked like (besides you getting sick) that everything turned out perfect!

Tanning: I like to tan, so I will continue the tanning bed. I am also using a great at home spray tan with bronzers. I will have to post the name when I get home. Tipping: I will definitely tip my WC, but will do so at the end based on quality of attention & detail (I've heard she is great from many reviews so I think it will be well deserved.) I am just wondering about the other tipping....we've hired a DJ, a photog, a pastor, and having a private dinner....I have read that in the past for my resort girls have given "x" amount of $ to the WC to divide amoungst the wait staff for the reception/cocktails/etc.

Well, after many weeks spent working on centerpieces.....and buying/returning flowers etc, my mom has finally convinced my just to go with real flowers and let the resort handle it. She said she will help me with the extra costs. Yay! This takes a huge weight off my shoulders with packing and planning! I am still taking my own table runners and probably some candles (though they will probably be pointless in the long run since we have an open air type dining and they prob won't stay lite). I am also printing my own menu cards, table numbers, and placecards.

It feels odd that my "to do" list in getting smaller and smaller. I did my last vistaprint order today (besides ordering announcements with our address on them) and it was an odd feeling. I called my mom to double check and said "are you sure there's nothing else to order?" My fiance was excited to hear that there wasn't really anything left ot order. We get a package now every other day and the wedding stuff has over run our dining room! We have our engagment pictures and my bridal shower next weekend, and my bridal portraits & bridesmaid luncheon in a few weeks. Now I just have to get my OOT completed and I'm done....it is crazy to think that in 2 more months I won't be doing anymore wedding planning! My weekend to do list: Try on tank tops so my mom can pick up and put the iron on decals for myself & the bridal party Wrap & get my hostess gifts ready for bridal shower Work on welcome book for OOT bag Start writing some Thank you notes Get my "wedding planning binder" in order & start typing notes for WC Convince my fiance he needs to plan the music and get the CD's & Ipod ready
