    Also, do you ladies know how many guests the bamboo room can accommodate? It seems the past groups that have used it are around 50 guests- I was wondering if it can hold more

    I Locked in a room rate with my travel agent and blocked a portion of rooms- I've informed my guests that they have to a certain date to take advantage of this room rate- after that I cannot guarantee rate or even availability. (there is a certain date i can hold the rooms until without being penalized) - But I did have to front a deposit to hold the rooms for this time period. Just out of curiosity what are the rates you ladies are getting?

    Tracy- did you make the place cards for the buffet table? And did you tell them where to hang the lanterns? It looks like they are over the dance floor, correct?

    this may have already been discussed on this thread- is so I apologize....but are you guys doing OOT bags? I'm thinking of not to save $$ and luggage space. Although i'm toying with the idea of doing some sort of travel drinking mug

    I haven't gotten that far yet...but i was thinking of not doing suits. my wedding is beginning of July and thought it may be too hot for suits! Not sure what we will do but was thinking of some sort of linen pants and button up shirt

    We are probably going to fly down on either Wed. or Thurs and stay the week as well. I'm having beach ceremony and blue bar cocktail hour too! I've had some emailings with Ana just regarding availability but i haven't started any of the planning yet. I just got an email from her this AM that I am confirmed for Sunday ceremony!! Phew, what a relief! Let the planning begin!!! PS- where in NJ do you live, I'm in NYC

    lindzee602- I'll have to get a sneak peak of your wedding....if you don't mind. Have you decided when you will fly down there/ how long you will be staying? Where are you having your ceremony/cocktail hour/reception? Also...who is your travel agent? Sorry to pepper you with questions!!

    hmmmmm,,,seems that sunday's are an option now then. I'm going to hold ana to the date since she sent me a confirmaiton. will keep you ladies posted if she gives me a hard time

    ugh- no weddings in mexico on sundays? I do know of some brides getting married in Mexico 10.10.10 which is Sunday. My wedding is going to be symbolic....Wonder if that makes a difference. I may hold Ana to the July 3rd date- since she did send me a confirmation! Fingers crossed

    christa- I just friend requested you on facebook so I can view your pics! couple quick questions for all you ladies. I just booked my date for Sunday july 3rd, 2011. My mom just called me saying that she heard they don't do weddings on Sundays in Mexico- have you guys heard this? They wouldn't have allowed me to book and confrim july 3rd if this was true right? I may be being paranoid...I just emailed ana to triple check. Also, on another note, regarding chair bows...what length do you guys that are bringing your own down use? Or is there just a standard length?thanks!!

    thanks for this! I translated the webpage through google translate and I dont' see anything about DJ-ing on there only lighting...I will have to try to get more info from Ana! Let me know if anyone gets anymore info on the DJ's!!
