Hi Everyone! Â Has anyone worked with Kelley on having the Groom and Groomsmen come over to the site BEFORE the boat to take pictures before the wedding? We're getting married in Oct 2011 (yay!) and are worried about how much lighting will be left after the ceremony, so wanted to see if anyone was able to work out another boat trip or solution with Kelley.

Thanks nessa! And yes, Kelley has been great even in the very, very beginning of the planning stages. Â Now that I'm moving forward with planning, wanted to ask everyone's opinion on how they booked hotel. Did you yourself negotiate a group rate with a hotel directly, or did you use a travel agent to do the heavy lifting? We'll be having a group of about 60 people and are looking for an all-inclusive. We are more of the party type of group vs a relaxed group. I really want the hotel to allow 4 adults in 1 room so some people in our group can have the option of sharing. (I may have missed a similar post on this thread and I apologize if I am repeating the question) Â Can anyone give any tips on hotel negotiations? Â Also, did anyone do a group discount code when booking flights? Â Thanks! Alison

Thx Rachel - very good info to know about the Mismaloya area. We are thinking about Barcelo as a resort - how did you/your guests like it? What kind of vibe was it? (we have a pretty wild group) We read on TripAdvisor people got sick from the food... how was your experience there? One last question, how far/easy was it to get to the downtown area?

While you seem to all know so much about Las Caletas, can I ask a few more questions? Â Do you know the rain contingency plan? Does the company pick up guests via catamaran (for the primier package) only from certain hotels or any hotel along the PV coastline? Do you have a recommendation of where to have all guests stay? Hi Everyone! Â My fiance and I stumbled upon this wedding forum last night and wow, you all have really made an impression on us about Las Caletas and all it's beauty. We are up for something a little different for our wedding day and we think this is a great possibility. Â I have a question that I am hoping someone on this forum will know the answer to: Â We are thinking about an October 2011 wedding. The sunset is at 5:30p and I read on here that the ceremony is typically at 6:30p. I would prefer to not get married in the dark. Do they move up the timeline to accommodate more of a daylight wedding? Â Any tips or advice would greatly be appreciated! Â Alison
