    ChelsH - Thanks for the AWESOME and detailed review. One question for you - do you think customs would be less of an issue if all the welcome bags stuff wasn't in one suitcase? I'm a little worried about that. I didn't know to keep receipts for everything!! :s

    I think it's the rainy season now which is coming to an end (I think). A lot can change in 3 weeks in Mexico!!

    We couldn't even tell our parents about it - we brought it up and they freaked (well, my mom freaked) that we would even think to get married ahead of time. So we're having my MOH and another friend who can't make it to the DW.

    We're doing the legal this on Oct 29th - also all business, no kiss, no rings. I'll probably wear jeans. We picked up the license yesterday - kind of a surreal feeling! I went for my (almost) last fitting today! I pick up the dress next weekend, if all goes well! Slowly crossing things off the never-ending "to do" list!

    Thank you so much ladies! They were a lot of work but I love how they turned out and I got a ton of compliments on them. The floral design was done by Tris (from BDW). She did great work for extremely reasonable. I mean EXTREMELY. Thank you so much. I used traditional wax.

    We're also using maracas for favours - I got them from amols.com. Another big box to lug down! :s We're using Blue Lens as "extra" for the reception since we're already paying for them. So excited!!

    Me too! It was also my grandparents wedding date so it meant a lot. It's all our travel agent's fault - who kept making us wait to book for NOTHING!

    Yes, it really does feel personal. And you're right - in some cases it kind of is!! I was feeling pretty crappy there for a few days, but I really think once we're in our destination, we'll be happy with our choice. Although I'm disappointed in some people, I am grateful for those who are attending, and will spend some amazing quality time with each of them.

    Ha! I had to laugh - Fi brought home this EXACT flower arrangement as a thank you for me last week and I thought "that would be a cute centrepiece"! It's been on the table for nearly a week and still looks great! I wonder if we live near by??

    I'm really struggling with this. We thought we were going to have a predominantly "young" wedding, but now it's looking like a LOT of older folks will be joining us. I'm not sure what to play!!

    I have been looking all over for the perfect wedges!! Not an easy task this time of year. This packing has turned into shopping, lol. All the items I think would complete an outfit, I now "must have".

    Is anyone else planning their outfits? I want to look good for the whole 2 weeks, and I know if I wait until I'm down there I will just slap something on, so I'm going to put together different outfits ahead of time so I don't have to think about it. I know, I'm a nerd!

    I think I'm going to do the white strips as well. I'm also using whitening toothpaste already, and hydrogen peroxide wash (which I've done for years).
