    Does anyone know - does the Valentin use disposable or reusable plastic cups for their guests outside? I'd rather not lug down reusable cups for everyone, but it's wasteful for people to be throwing cups out the whole time.

    They're both beautiful. I like the skirt on the 2nd one, but the shape of the 1st. Sorry, that's probably not helpful! Try to envision yourself in both on the big day and see what feels right.

    Great questions! I'm also planning on having the ceremony in the gazebo, but I haven't seen any pics of it set up for that. As for the reception - I think you can use any of the restaurants.

    My mother was appalled when I said I wanted to wear coloured shoes with my wedding dress - until she saw it in Martha Stewart's Wedding magazine. lol. If Martha does it, it's OK.

    Ya, the centre piece prices at the Valentin are nuts, I hear. I think we're going to just use the BM's bouquets and bring some cute vases down.

    Beautiful. I'm doing something similar (mainly white with pink accents) but with roses, and my girls will have all pink too.

    I feel the same way!! It was my Fi's idea to have the DW, and he convinced me by saying how much less stressful it would be, but I'm pretty sure it's just as bad. lol. You're right, it will all be worth it!

    I think it depends on your dress... If your dress has lots of bling, it could be too much. If it has none, you might want some bling on your shoes! Just a thought.

    Ugh, we just booked our photographer. I thought the fee was $90. Fi will not be happy if it's 200 or 300, nor will I! I hope she sticks to the $90 for everyone.

    If she tells me it's $300, I'm going to take some screen shots from this website and send them to her - if other people are paying $90, why should we pay $200?
