Haha, ya no kidding! It bothers me to spend that much on a photog and they can't even bother to learn your names!! We're not going to do a TTD so I think we'll just use BLC as backup for the wedding - we only have Juan for 3 hours, so I think we'll use BLC to capture more of the later reception.

We're getting married in the Mayan Riviera. It's probably smart to leave things until you know final #'s... I'm too impatient. lol.

Another Nov 2011 bride here! We're getting married on Nov 10th. We have been engaged since Feb 2010, sent out STDs in November, and just sent out invites last week! I have a lot of things done - menus, programs, started OOT bags... but it's difficult when you don't know how many people are coming! How do you guys deal with this issue??

These puppies were a labour of love... I'm thrilled with how they turned out though!! Thanks to Tris for such an awesome design! And to proti007 for the burlap and kraft envelope idea - it added a "natural" component to our wedding that was missing and really brought out the "me" in the invites. We've even incorporated burlap and the kraft look into the reception decor now. Sources: I got most of the materials (enclosures, mats, paper) from cardsandpockets.com - highly recommend them! Printed on home printer - had a sample done at professional printers but I liked how my home printer did it better - and saved $100!! I agree. I'm having a reception at home for everyone who couldn't come to the wedding. I wasn't going to wear my dress but everyone said "we want to see it!" so I am going to. I think it's nice for them.

C - I'm not planning to ship anything down there. I'd rather pay for extra luggage on the plane and have it with me. So Veronica emailed me today to say that she quoted me the wrong price for the chairs earlier. Oh well! For the menus, she said we have to pick one item from each category (appetizer, main, etc). Is this right?? Everyone has to eat the same thing? I would think there would be at least 2 options for the entree???
