  1. Wow! Thanks Samantha! I didn't know about the additional cost for food...We received the $20/pp quote as well. I better look into that...we had assumed all of our guests would stay at H3R but now some are mentioning they may not be able to afford to stay there
  2. Hi Ladies, Question, would anyone happen to know if guests that are not staying at H3R need a day pass to attend wedding events held at the resort? And if so, how much? Thanks. E
  3. I LOVE these luggage boxes! Thanks for posting a detailed post on these Rachel...I can't wait to make my own...
  4. Hi Vanessa, These are all the photos of menu cards that I've collected via internet searches, so far...some may very well be from this site as well: The belly band quote on the menu is a lovely touch. I love the colors and the different shaping for this menu... Luxe statement factor! This menu is actually made from wood Credit: Ceci New York...This is actually my inspiration for my menu cards Happy planning! ~E
  5. These are great Dominique! Thanks for sharing...I'll probably grab this book since I will actually be having an Indian wedding and my reception theme is "World Carnival" (since we have a lot of different cultures represented in our own family and friends) so this sticker book fits perfectly! http://www.myubam.com/ecommerce/details.asp?sid=B1306&gid=123948491&title=Sticker+Dolly+Dressing+Around+the+World&sqlwhere=submit%3Dsearch%26search%3Dwedding
  6. Aww thank you Dominique for the very kind words...what are your colors? I went to Michaels, JoAnn's and A.C. Moore. For my invites, I plan on using paper from this cute site: www.papermojo.com. They have an amazing selection of different textured paper. So check it out. Let me know if you find anything...
  7. Aww, I tried to open but my comp doesn't recognize that ".pub" extension. Would you happen to have it in another format?
  8. Girrrrl I'm copying this idea too! I wasn't the one who originally posted those camera photo cards but I think they're totally adorable. When I find them (or create them) I will post so everyone else can get them too.
  9. Well I have been to the Caymans (fave island so far...) and I had considered having our wedding there so do I count? lol... As a suggestion: I had brought back Tortuga rum cakes for friends/family/coworkers...nothing was left! I even had friends' STEALING rum cakes that were meant for others saying 'you snooze you lose' lol. They are THAT good..and with all the flavors they come in you can please many... I had bought a bunch of the 6 pack cakes and a big Original Golden one for my mom who proceeded to ask me for more three days later! http://www.tortugarumcakes.com/ P.S. Their rum is delicious. Although you can't purchase that off the site. Smells crazy strong but tastes so smooth... Happy Planning!
  10. Love it! Makes me want to be there right now! Just need a pina colada and I'm set! haha Thanks for sharing...
  11. Thanks Ladies for your input! I am going to try <<inhale>> my best to take your advice and not worry (stress) about the silly barcode...I can be so picky at times... @ DramaticAnnie - knowing me, my family and friends would NOT put it past me to have items (even cups) special ordered...I'm that cuckoo about matching EVERYTHING!!! LOL!
  12. Hi asiamarie, Thanks! I'm glad to be of help...party city is great when they have items on sale but usually tends to be on the pricey side so I suggest always searching other sites before clicking the purchase button at party city...
  13. Thanks for the tip about the receipt Gin! That is something I forget to do at times...
  14. Oooo thanks for the tip on hitting up multiple locations...and I finally received my member's reward loyalty card so I will be putting that to good use!
  15. Hi Ladies: So excited. While shopping at Walmart, I found these plastic cups for 87cents! There are from Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place" Party theme package...I grabbed all 21 on the shelf...then later I googled to see if I could purchase more and I found them on SALE for 50cents at PARTY CITY!!! I also was able to get free shipping. I love them b/c they combine all the colors I will be using, my fave color is orange and there are no trademark photos from the show on the cups. They even have a paisley and lotus flower design! It was meant to be hehe...one of my 'Senoritas' suggested I use them for my Welcome Reception. Question, the ONLY thing that bothers me about these cups is the bar code...any suggestions for covering that up? I was thinking of doing a label of either our logo or individual guest names (I think it will be cute to see guests using them around the resort...) but am unsure since there are so many funky colors and designs...not sure a white label would look nice and a clear label will definitely not stand out. As a refresher, I am having a Catholic and Hindu wedding in Playa Del Carmen next year September...I wanted to go with a fiesta theme (with a caribbean spin) for the welcome party... Here's our logo, which is actually still a work in progress... LOGO Thanks for you help in advance... OOT CUPS By the way, here's the link to the Party City "Wizards of Waverly Place" party section if anyone else is interested in getting these cups. I also purchased the napkins... http://www.partycity.com/product/wizards+of+waverly+place+party+supplies.do ~ E
