    I would recommend NOT cancelling. From reading and hearing others reviews, it seems like once you get there most of the details will be finalized. Just make sure you bring a copy of all email correspondence with you. I know a lot of DW brides are frustrated with the lack of communication but then once they get to the resort, they realize the WC's are very busy with the weddings going on all week. Take a deep breath ...I know it's hard to tell yourself but everything will be OK once you get down there

    I received from info from the RIU, but i have to say so far the MELIA WC has been much quicker to respond with more detailed information, and seems to be a better value.

    I also have some info from the RIU I'll try to dig up and send it. I did not check into dreams, it seemed a bit pricey for what we are looking for our group.

    I submitted a request online and Vannessa got back to me within a day. I think it's great that they send you a questionare so they can work up a price proposal for you. I am waiting to get mine back! So far my experience with the Melia has been A++ compared to submitting a request through the RIU ( I have yet to hear back)

    Hey girls I also have the LATEST info from the WC @ the Melia Cabo Real. I have to say, in comparison to RIU and GPLH / GPJ (jamaica) the Melia info is way more detailed, and the WC has responded almost immediately to my inquiries! definitely a plus! The WC sent me a GREAT power point that shows the differnet packages, options and additions, It also has pics of the sites that I've included here. Reply with your email if you want me to send it to you, and I will as soon as I see your post! <3 AG Â

    I was consider the RIU Palace for my DW next March (2011) but it seems like you get a lot more for your money at the Melia (even though its a ways out). And they have a swimmable beach! very cool. ANY comments/advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
