    My cardstock didn't curl but after I assembled the invites, I kept them bundled with a coated elastic. I also scored all the pages before cutting and folding so that the folds were more crisp. Maybe you could try placing them under a few heavy books overnight to flatten them out?

    I would contact your WC in Miami and check to make sure that the flowers you want are included in the diamond package. I fell in love with the flowers shown for the amber collection and then found out they would be an additional $240. I just booked my sites for our wedding which is 5 five months away and that is considered early. I know a lot of brides, including me, suggest trying to get assigned to your MP WC so that you can confirm your desired location. Don't feel lost, you still have a long way to go.

    I've been to a few weddings with the bathroom baskets and love them. You just never know when you will need a safety pin, hairspray or anything else liek that. It's a great idea!

    Thanks Cyn.. we have one of the presidential suites reserved for my parents and sister. They are beautiful and spacious. I think they were looking for just a door between two regular rooms.

    Does anyone know if Moon Palace has adjoining rooms? FI's grandma wants to come but not cramp anyone's style so she was hoping to get an adjoining room. I don't think they do, but if someone can confirm that would be great. Sadly, the couple she was going to travel with is reconsidering since they found out the cost.

    So after booking a flights for his parents and realizing that they would probably be spending a night at our house before we return I thought of my dream wedding gift. I would love to have someone arrange to have our whole house cleaned while we are away, including fresh sheets and towels. This way we can return home to a clean house and not stress about getting organized. And then this morning, I received a groupon email for cleaning services. Maybe I can convince FI to "surprise" me? Has/is anyone else arranging cleaning while they are away?

    For all the DIY girls - Michaels' is having a bonus 20% off sale and regular prices on Saturday, Nov 20/10. So sad I have to work and will miss out. Maybe I should send FI to pick up some stuff hehe. Last time I sent him to two different Michaels stores to find the paper for our invites.

    I think some printers have a setting that allow dry time so they won't smear.

    Laura - my heart goes out to you. I also know what it's like to have a sick pet and your pet can't tell you what hurts or how it feels. Last year my dog got a pinched nerve that made her unable to lift her back end. The poor thing was dragging her legs behind to get around. I really hope you find out what is happening with your kitty and that it isn't anything major.

    Michelle - I ordered my dress through Monica Bridal using the same method and was worried that I would end up with a different dress. There wasn't any issues with that. I also have some rouching on my dress and it lays flat. It's just two sizes too large. But I agree with Bonnie, you're dress is fairly simple so give Babyonline a try.

    I found a seller on ebay that makes similar garters for only $19.99 for the set. I ordered a set of Colts ones since my FI loves the team and it will be my "something blue." She doesn't have any pink and orange but could probably make some if she got the request. You can google avysm ebay to find her store. Once I see mine, I will post a picture.

    Tisha - the flowers look gorgeous. I want to tie our bouquets with the turquoise ribbon as well.

    We haven't sent out our invites yet so hopefully that doesn't happen, but my attitude has tried to be, "It's our wedding, we're getting married there, anyone that can afford it is welcome." But they better not complain about anything!

    Amazing news! I think FI is a little afraid I might "pull the goalie" for a honeymoon baby. I hope your pregnancy and last year of nursing school goes really well and that your precious bundle arrives safely.

    Lisa, They are DIY made from cardstock and vellum. I found the template on another site, but apparently they are inspired by a Martha Stewart lantern.

    I bought a bunch of led lights so I think I may decorate the tables with lanterns that have the menu printed on them, like this: Most importantly, these are made of paper that is light and can be folded up for travel. I will also have the maracas. I don't want too much more or I think it will look too busy.

    The only song we've settled on is "Someone Like You" by Van Morrison for the signing of certificates. We're considering a few others for the rest of the ceremony. What ideas do you have?
