Teira, those frames are gorgeous, I agree with Tris that you could probably find cheaper ones to spray paint. Thanks for the reminder to check Michaels flyer for more stuff to buy!
I know how much it sucks when your dress isn't what you wanted, so I really do hope it gets sorted out. Maybe if you include all those measurements on the picture when you are requesting quotes from others it would be helpful.
Laura, Our company doesn't honor Family Day because they are only required a certain amount of stat days. So sadly, no long weekends for us all winter long.
We registered at two department stores in Canada. We have some kitchen stuff, towels, nicer china and cutlery. After all, if you don't register for it, you'll probably always find an excuse not to buy nice dinnerware.
I agree with Bonnie, they only guarantee 80-90% replica. If you tried on the real one and expected the same you'll be disappointed. Plus at this point they can only make minor adjustments, for your list you would require a brand new dress. Can you honestly say you expected an exact replica for under $200?
I forgot that most of you have a nice long weekend! Enjoy it. Sadly, I have to cram all my stuff into two days. And still pack to leave for Regina next weekend!
lsmith - Here's a link to a template that you can just print on your favorite paper. http://www.craftideas4kids.com/cake-box-template/ Thanks for mentioning the cake boxes. I'm making mini tiered cakes for my bridal shower and need to find boxes for those this weekend too. And make chocolate roses. And start making the cakes.
Just be prepared for the amount of work. I was away from home for work and stuck in a hotel by myself so it wasn't so bad finding the many hours to cut, trim, assemble, etc. Definitely not for someone with a busy or hectic schedule.
Brandy - Thanks for making me feel so much better by posting that you haven't done BM dresses yet either. My sister is freaking out that it won't be done in time. I wasn't too worried because we still have 12 weeks until we leave.
Are you looking for a beach or gazebo ceremony? I purchased 60 chair sashes for about $50 and I was told it would cost $55 to have MP set up. Or free setup if you have a friend do it for you. Otherwise, I was told $14-$30 per item rented from MP.
So what wedding activities does everyone have planned to complete this weekend? On our list: order my ring, sadly have to give up my e-ring for the to take a mold
make final decision on his ring, and order make final decision on FI attire and GM attire find dress for bridal shower next week find a few prizes for bridal shower
It actually didn't cost me anything to stop at an alterations store to have them take measurements. I was just working crazy hours for a long time and was not able to get out during the hours that stores are normally open. We all learn the hard way?
Laura that's great! I need to find a new dentist for that same reason. I liked the last one I went to but they never called to schedule an appointment, when I specifically asked them too.
Kelly was great to deal with. I ended up picking my own real touch flowers and making my own bouquets because I couldn't seem to communicate exactly what I wanted, but she definitely showed me some gorgeous options.
