Lisa, I have always wanted to try the laser thing, but I'm worried because of my perma-tan skin tone, I wouldn't want to lose pigmentation in areas. You should try the brazilian, no better time than a holiday esp a wedding! Maybe you could just slip the welcome package under everyone's doors so you don't have to pay a delivery fee. I think if you wrap your place cards carefully, and so they don't slide, they should stay attached, just bring the glue gun as a back up. When we bought our house last year it was crazy how much money we spent. We even ended up furnishing the whole thing right away, even though we had planned on doing it slowly. But now that you have your down payment as an amazing gift, it should be a lot easier. I think your magazine is a much better gift than OOT bags. It's truly original. I would say it's comparable to underarms just because it's not an area that is frequently exposed and the skin is delicate? Wow, did I just type that? We are allowed two carry ons and one free bag, so I already plan on jamming my dress and FI's suit into one bag. We're also bringing the bouquets which will be a second carry on. I hope we get priority boarding so there's enough space! FI has already accepted that we will be paying the extra $20 for a few people to have a second bag. I also figure that a lot of stuff won't come back, so maybe I will just have to buy more clothes there?

Hello ladies, Since this is a new section that I just noticed I thought I would start by asking how long people are planning to wait before starting to play the baby making game? Also, is anyone planning on making any changes before they attempt to conceive? Changing medications, diet, etc.

Tris - that is so funny. Whenever I had it done, I always went to a stranger, now I do it myself. Are you doing favors? I'm starting to realize that the favors will probably be forgotten or lost with all the potential drinking.

Erin just make sure to pop an advil or something before you go. And don't be shy, you will have to show it all off. P.S. You and FI might want to take it easy for a couple days if you are sensitive. And he will prob have a hard time restraining himself. I guess I will need to hit up the dollar store for a cheap glue gun I really hope it works.

You will absolutely love it! Are the bags white? Maybe you can print your logo with a background color? I'm so sad. I found an iron-on transfer that says "property of the groom" that I ironed onto a bikini bottom, but not all the stones stuck and I don't know how to fix it. Sadly there was only one of those iron-ons so I can't even buy another one. Do you think I can hot glue the others on?

Erin - Sounds amazing. We already get a mani, pedi and back massage, but I think I'm going to schedule us extra massages. We get $300 to spend at the spa, so hopefully that will cover most of it. Tenny it looks like your dad is having a problem realizing that it is a wedding, not a backyard bbq. Inviting guests at the last minute, telling them not to send RSVPs, what will be next? As for your other question, totally go get waxed. I have had almost everything waxed, eyebrows, face, underarms, legs, bikini, arms, anywhere hair grows. I would much rather wax than shave or use a cream. It's quick and lasts a long time. It's gotten to the point that I even notice that the hair on my legs is more sparse. And because I know you're worried about pain, the part of my body that hurts the most to wax is around my ankles. Who wants to be worried about stubble and having to shave everyday? Start going once a month and make your last appointment for a few days before you leave.

kya - Check out the exact mugs that Paper Bag Princess ordered, the shipping is so much lower for that mug. Also, I searched and eventually found a few places that are just across the border that will hold a package for $5 per week. Depending on how far you are from the border, that might work out for you. I will certainly be taking advantage of the service. The place I found is near Niagara.

Otherwise, consider bringing your own fabric for the resort to drape across the bare chuppah? I'm not sure how much you would need, but you might be able to resell it afterwards? greysgirl - I'm so jealous of your orchids. I love orchids, but they are always sooooo expensive. I saw a picture on here of chairs decorated with orchids, gorgeous.

Teira, I knew you would have an amazing time and I'm sure you & FI will love the results. I can't wait to see some previews. I think it's very self empowering to flaunt ourselves for the camera. And I agree that we will always see imperfections, so we might as well embrace them just as our FI's have. Plus, there's a high likelihood that things will start to get worse haha. I wish I was done planning. I feel like I still have a lot to do. I'm probably going home for a weekend and I warned FI that we won't have much time to go out with friends because we need to get a ton of wedding stuff settled.

I did check out the link that Paper Bag Princess provided and remarkably it is only $15 to have 40 mugs shipped to Ontario. It's just too bad that I could only find that deal on two mugs, and neither in preferable colors. May have to discuss further with FI.

Did you have them delivered to a Canadian address? I find that's the problem with most online stores. Shipping to Canada is the killer.

My FI doesn't know anything about my dress, current or future, I just asked him what he liked and didn't like. I don't want his thoughts to be, "why would she pick something like that?" Even though he has told me that it doesn't matter and I will look gorgeous in anything.

kya - I have been searching high and low for some reasonable prices. They are twice as much as the prices in U.S. Now I'm trying to find a local source to avoid shipping at least. I'll let you know if I find something.

I'm totally going to start searching for those cover ups. I was trying to find something for my busty BMs.

The things we do to satisfy our men.... FI didn't want my dress to have a sweetheart, and he didn't really like the mermaid cut... it's not my fault that the sweetheart looks better on me and the mermaid is more flattering.... I just didn't want a ball gown. I hope you can come up with something you love. Fingers crossed for both of us.

Lisa, you want ruffles? I never knew. All the pictures you've posted have had simple a-line skirts.

Lisa, the flower looks great. Sorry you don't love your dress. Does it fit properly, or does it need alterations? I think your Dad will look fine in the pictures. I don't get why his gf is wearing such a light colour to your wedding though. What are the other parents wearing? I've decided to order another dress as soon as everyone gets back from Chinese New Year. Then once it arrives I will pick my favorite and try to sell the other one.
