We will be there the same time!!!! Actually I think there are a few of us on this thread getting married here in Oct!!! How is your planning going??? .....

I have booked the hen apartments in Bristol booked and limo booked had a really good deal apartment with breakfast £40 limo picking us up and dropping off at our homes £450 which works out £40 each BARGAIN........ EXCITED NOW!!!!!!! X

Also spoke to the jeweller and our rings should be ready in the next 2-3 weeks... Can't wait to get them... x Wow just 21 sleeps I am soooooo jealous I have got 23 weeks to go!!!!! I wish it would hurry up!!!!! x

In don't know what to get my mother and mother in law as a prezzie either... So looking forward to lots of ideas from peps.... I am quite lucky that my mum and mother in law get on really well they are like drinking buddies lol plus I get on with her as well thank god (it's the sister in law with my family but there is always one isn't there).... Also don't know what to get the children my daughter Natasha is 8 and my son Joshua will be 15 when we are there (so there will also be a birthday celebration out there!!!!) any ideas are welcome!!!!! Thanks everyone!!!!

Thanx Kerry we were hoping to avoid all these arguments!!!! I just wish she could be happy for us that we are finally getting married after all these years but it is not the case it was really getting to us at one stage but we are now well this is what we want please just be happy for us..

Lyndsey - Where are your pics of your hen night??? Did you go to Newcastle?? Calv has booked to go there on his stag he spent some time up there when he was in the army and absolutely loved it so he is going back for his stag plus he still has some mates there......

OMG have I had some drama today ...... We went into Thomsons to add 2 more to the wedding party and my neice works there (her mum is calv's sister who has been making a fuss over our wedding) anyway within 20 mins of us leaving Thomson Calv gets a phone call from his sister asking if our friends (who we booked for) were coming with us so Calv says yes..... WELL she hit the roof saying that she couldn't afford to come (which isn't exactly true) and that if we wanted friends and family to come to our wedding we should do it here!!!! Calv politely told her that we were doing what we wanted and that we weighed all the options before making any decisions and that we felt that we decided that we would do what we wanted as a wedding and by giving everyone 15-16 mths notice to save if they wanted to come with us they could anyway Calv ended up going to his sisters house for 2 hours and they still haven't resolved anything.... I am completely fed up of all this drama cos part of the reason we are going away to get married is because she doesn't speak to her (and Calv's) dad and she doesn't get on with her step mum either and there is just too much stress for a formal wedding..... Grr Grr bloody families x Sorry for the rant girls but I feel better after ranting on here makes it easier to deal with things if that makes any sense xx

Hi ChristaMichelle - There are only 9 of us so far so we will be going to one of the al a cartes don't know which one yet.... I've had all the choices through from Mara, I haven't made any choices yet, I think she said we've got 2 months until the wedding to decide.... Picked bridesmaid dress they are topaz blue with an ivory sash.... Picked my dress..... Got a few ideas for flowers and I have picked the cake but I haven't confirmed it with Mara yet..... Sorting out FI's suit in June. How long will you be at the resort? We are arriving on 16th Oct getting married on 25th Oct and leaving on 30th October so we are there for 2 weeks.....
