Hi everyone - Nicy your post box looks wonderful peps on here are soooo creative xxxxx Michelle - Hope your back gets better soon xxxxx God I think i'm a bit thick but are your jabs for mexico? If so I didn't know you had to have jabs!!! My kids and mum are gonna freak!!!!!! My mum has a huge fear of needles!!! I don't know if it is me (considering I have got about 8 months to go) but I seem to be acting a bit crazy. Getting really stressed over silly things that usually don't bother me taking quite a lot of things personally... I have spoken to a close friend about this and she seems to think that it has a lot to do with the wedding as the argument between my future SIL still hasn't been resolved she didn't even send Calvin a card for his birthday just wished him Happy Birthday on facebook!!! I feel as if this is my fault cos I decided to go to Mexico, plus she isn't speaking to her mother my future MIL as she has stuck up for us..... And I think it is all getting to me... :-( I can't talk to Calvin about it cos I don't really want to upset him... I just feel guilty over this.... Has anyone else felt like this or is it just me having a little bit of melt down and I'll be ok in a couple of days...:-(((((((( . We are going to London on Monday to see Phantom of the Opera so hopefully a couple of days away will chill me out and I can get back to normal.... xxxxxx Thanx x

I think I would be really frustrated if the WC wasn't getting back to me this close to the wedding.... I have had my a la carte choices.... Haven't made a decision yet... What timescale do these choices need to be made as I haven't chosen my bouquet, cake etc I haven't even chosen a colour scheme yet..... I am thinking of either turquoise or coral... What are all your colour schemes?? Char79 - Thanx for what you said it does make me feel better xx I have had a busy couple of days Calvin's 40th Birthday on Friday and he is going with his friends to Rome to watch Wales v Italy so I decided we would have a family meal on Tues and he could have his prezzies and cards then.... I got him tickets to see Phantom of the Opera in London (his friend John plays the Phantom so he has got me a good deal on tickets!!) Calv has always wanted to see John in Phantom so when he saw the tickets he had a tear in his eye bless him.....:-) I've booked us into a lovely hotel and then we are going to have food in the Ivy (again curtesy of John) I cannot wait!!!!! and it's Calv's birthday hee hee. I've also picked my dress and I LOVE IT!!!!! So glad I waited for the right one..... and listened to the bridal shop owner.... I went to one bridal shop and she was really pressurising me to put a deposit on a dress (thank god I didn't) went to another bridal shop who told me to wait as they were having new designs in and that I had enough time to choose a dress......xxxx So the first one I tried on from the new design I knew was the one. xxxxx Here is a pic I am sooooo excited now xxxxx

But at the lovely age of 14 he doesn't think it is cool.... Teenagers are not my favourite age at the mo.... If any of you have them then you will understand what I mean LOL

Calv n I have been together for over 12yrs we have 2 children together and all we want to do is have a lovely family holiday and have a quiet wedding just us n our immediate family (and some friends if they want to come) and then have a party when we come home.... We have given her 15 months notice to save to come with us but it isn't good enough for her. At the moment she isn't speaking to her own mum who only wants her to go to her brothers wedding it's just crazy!! And now I am feeling guilty because it was my idea to go away and I feel like I have started a massive family rift :-((((( Thats my Sunday rant LOL

I have just had the restaurant food choices from Mara today and I don't know which option to go for especially as we have children coming with us. Do they cater separately for children or do they have to have what is on the set menu. Mine are fussy eaters...... Thanks everyone.x

Hi Girls - I've just checked my e-mails and my wedding co-ordinator at the hotel has just confirmed that our wedding is now 3pm (feel so much better cos that is the time I wanted) and she has sent all my choices through the bouquets, the wedding cake and menu choices I am so excited!!!!! :-)) The gazebo at the moment is not available as it is located in the area where the explosion happened but it should be ready by Oct at the moment they have a Yuppa on the beach so she has sent a photo of that and it looks lovely... xxx I'm happy happy happy.

Nicy - Your AHR sounds wonderful, we have booked ours and our room is free, we are having a slideshow of our photos, thinking of having mexican cocktails for the women when they arrive and mexican beer for the men (only one each), the place where we are having it has just been refurbished so we don't have the decorate it and we will be having a buffet. :-)

I went through something similar about 4 yrs ago, I am an estate agent and have been for over 10yrs I got a new job as a branch manager of another agent and the area manager was a complete bitch.... I used to wake up and cry cos I didn't want to go to work :-(, she would tell lies to the staff about me and then lie to me about the staff..... I am getting married in October .. We did request a 3pm wedding. When you say a cloudy rainy day is it rain like here in the UK????? Or did it clear up for you to have photos outside, Cos I am going during hurricane season. (Didn;t realise that until after I booked) Typical me..... I am also worried about the gap between ceremony, photos and reception meal (only 7 of us going at the mo)

Everyone has been busy here LOL..... Lots of ideas and information Thanx x We have to take our long birth certificate with us to our resort. Been to the gym yesterday with Calvin ...... not a good idea as I have been walking like a 90 yr old all day ........ The catamaran trip sounds amazing :-):-) I have been sorting out hen invitations today hoping to give them out next week :-) xx
