Beautiful pics!! Where did you get your maracas? I was planning on buying some down there but i noticed how great yours matched everything and was wondering if you got them ahead of time or not.

 We dont have anyone else booked yet either. I sent out save the dates about a month ago with all the info made a website too. I wish they would all hurry up and do it haha

I totally agree!! It is stressful! I am afraid I am going to miss out on something bc I didnt know about it ahead of time. Or end up spending more money then I am planning on because I dont have all my options to figure out. But Im sure it will all work out ok. I was hoping that they might be more helpful once it got closer to my date but you seem way more organized and planned then I am so I guess I should just start figuring it out on my own too!

Thanks for the info! I didnt know about the limos either...good to know! So one person could book the limo and then as many as 8 can ride in it? Â Can you use the vacation dollars for a photography package even with the free wedding package?

Â Also I was wondering if anyone knew how much it is to upgrade your room and around how much the excursions are. I'm trying to figure out how much we will be able to do with the $1500. Hi! I'm an April bride also! April 8 at Aventura Spa Palace. I dont have very much done. I do have the resort and airfare booked so that is one major thing done yay! I am having major problems deciding on a dress and shoes. I'm hoping to knock out the dress this wknd and I think I will feel a lot better once that is done. Good luck everyone!

Geez I didnt even think about decorating for the reception too. I am planning on buying maracas down there for favors (i think i read somewhere that the walmart has them too) so I think I'll have them on the table. I'm assuming (hoping) the place will be pretty enough that it will look ok without much decoration.

I'm doing the free package at Aventura Spa Palace. I think I will bring some chair bows too and I'm not sure what to do about flowers. Does the included bouquet look super plain does anyone know? I like lillies but I'm not sure how I feel about just plain white lillies with nothing else. But I dont want to spend a ton on flowers either...

I am having this problem!! Â I just got my save the dates to mail and I have made a web site. I feel like there is no reason to send formal invitations because everyone will already have all the information. I feel like most people that want to come do already and I havent even sent the save the dates yet (guess I should have done it sooner, oh well). My mom wants me to send save the dates and/or invites to extended family that I barely know because she thinks its proper etiquette, but the whole point of a destination wedding to me was to keep it small and simple and not have to worry about inviting those kind of people. Â Then there is the at home reception... We are just doing a casual at home reception at a bar near our house. I dont know if I should do separate invites for that. And if so am I obligated to send those to my whole big extended family? Or is it ok to keep it on the smaller side too with family and friends that couldnt make it to our Mexico wedding? So stressful!

I was also wondering what all I need to decide and let them know ahead of time vs. what I can decide when I get there (I am doing the complimentary package too). I remember someone saying they did almost all the planning once they got there but I want to make sure I dont forget to tell them something ahead of time. And it sounds like the WC can be hard to contact sometimes...Sorry if i am repeating questions I promise I'll read through it all sometime this wknd : ) Â What all are you adding on to the package jszy10? And what are you making your girls flowers out of? I have been considering real touch flowers since real ones are so expensive but i'm scared because I have never seen any in person.

Hi Ladies! Â I am new to the site. Getting married at Aventura Spa Palace April 8, 2011. Looking forward to all the info shared on here! Â In response to the group contract thing they were very flexible with me. My guests will be coming and going at different times and staying different lenghts of time. I blocked off rooms for 7 days and the resort provided a link where the guests can go and choose the dates they want to stay for and there is no penalty if I dont use all the rooms blocked. But I booked directly with the resort so I'm not sure how it works with a TA but they should be able to do the same sort of contract so you can get the group perks.
