    I am having the same dilema. TA or no TA? I started talks with the TA of a friend who she says is really good. So far I am not impressed. I think in the end i will just let people book their own. Someone before me said it best. This IS the most stressful part of my planning so far.... Thanks for sharing, it makes me feel better that I am not alone.

    Check out Dreams Palm Beach and Melia Caribe, we have narrowed our choice down to one of these resorts. They seem to have lots of options. Melia probably has better packages for a large wedding like yours. You can email them and ask for pricing and package options. I did and received responses within 1-2 days. Melanie Mena the WC at Dreams is very helpful and patient, I have emailed her tons of questions and she has promptly responded to all of them. Since you are having a big wedding it probably will help to have a good WC. good luck! V

    Not sure where you are getting married, i think you should ask your WC if they will make a sound system available for your first dance. if then are, then I say make the CD and also load the songs on your iPod to be on the safe side. This way you are double covered.

    Hello, we want our wedding to be in Nov 2011 over the Thanksgiving WE. So 11/25 or 11/26 are the dates we are shooting for. It was easy to coose Punta Cana in DR but now we are stuck and can't seem to decide on the resort. Our top two are Dreams Palm Beach (because of all the great reviews we have read on the forum) and Melia Caribe because we have a family member who was married there last year and it was a great place. I will share when we make a final decision....I am leaning more towards DPB....we will see

    I say why do you need shoes on the beach? If you do decide to wear shoes try a wedge it might keep you from sinking

    I vote for dress #2, the detail on the sash is really nice and the dress overall does not look stiff like the first one.

    Hello ladies, I started my wedding planning by putting first things first. I decided I would try to create our wedding monogram since this seems to be a good starting point. Ok, 20 minutes into working on my first design i realized i have no idea about monogram rules or if there are any for that matter. Does anyone know whose name should come first? Thansk, V
