One concern of bringing your own professional photographer from home is the airport customs, and legal requirements. A professional photographer cannot just come into Mexico and work without the legal paperwork or permission. All luggage is scanned, and anyone carrying professional equipment (or has more than one camera body, lens or flash) is stopped and pulled aside to explain their luggage. Our premier photographer is stopped and checked every time he enters Mexico - luckily he has all the legal paperwork and is licensed to work here! Is it really worth taking the risk of ruining your wedding trip by having your photographer from home denied entry - and then how do you find another photographer at the last minute - or ???
