First off congrats and welcome to the forum. Well generally the best time of day for photographs is at sunset which is why it is called the "golden hour". We like to shoot the newlywed photos during that time (arguably the most important), so to have the ceremony already done is preferable. Normally having the wedding earlier and that leaves time for the couple and the photographers to go and shoot during this time. Often we have seen the cocktail hour happen while we are out with the bride and groom. Then we finish with the photos and return for the reception. During November here in Playa the sunset will be between 5:50 and 6:10. So as a rough plan you could have the ceremony at 3:30 and then from 4:00 till 6:00 have photos (this would also include time for family photos directly after the ceremony). If you would rather be having your reception during sunset you would have to adjust accordingly. Hope this helps a little.
