I think this is the big reason many brides choose a travel agent to help them with booking hotels and flights. It is so hard to organize and plan multiple flights to a destination for a wedding event. Often flights are coming out of different destinations and everybody needs to be at the same place at the same time! While you may not always get the best "deal" using travel agents... it usually works out for the best and is easiest. Remember when your booking a deal price on a travel site... there is usually only a couple seats/hotel deals at any given price. Some may save a couple bucks... but then the flight ends up full and your stuck again. Best of luck with all your plans! Linkn

I can tell you that sea weed comes and goes... the ocean moves it around. Right now in Playa del Carmen... there is sea weed for kilometers! I have been here for years and never seen it like this. There are always a few spots that have it but right now the ocean is purging. Palace resorts and beautiful... and if there is sea weed... most resorts have crews out removing it every day. Congratulations and welcome to the forums! There is a beautiful quaint little restaurant called Pioloa ( http://intheroo.com/view/piola ) located near the end of the tourist end of 5th ave and 38th. I take all my out of town guests there and the prices are great. You can get all kinds of food and the drinks/wine are all reasonably priced! Its it romantic and often you can eat outside under the lights and evening moon! I think it would be great for a dinner for you guys! Best of luck with all your plans Linkn

Are you still able to have your wedding there? I would think the name changing shouldn't affect anything? I just said this in another post... but I will say it again... its all about you two and being surrounded by family and friends on your special day! You could be anywhere and it will still be one of the best days of your life and a milestone to be celebrated! Best of luck. Linkn

Wow... that is quite the dilema Jamie! Best of luck with everything... not sure what to say or how to work that issue out. All I will say... is if isn't going to happen there... change your hotel and move on. The sooner you will be able to let go of it the better off you will be. In the end... the event is all about you two and not the hotel. The Mayan Riviera is beautiful where ever you go and its about being surrounded by family and friends! Best of luck Linkn
