I would also suggest looking into Ceiba del Mar! It is a fantastic little resort and you will feel like you own it all. So picturesque and a fantastic spot for a wedding. Congratulations and welcome to the forums! The Iberostart Quetzal/Tucan located in Playacar is a great location for a wedding. Very picturesque and much smaller than the Iberostar's located on the coast which are mega resort. The Iberostart Quetzal/Tucan is small and easy to walk. You have direct access to walk into Playa del Carmen via the beach or around the golf course which will take you about 20 minutes. Cab rides are less than $5 to almost anywhere in Playa del Carmen. I walk by this resort everyday on my daily walk with Peanut (my pup). Always lots of people out and very safe touristy area! Let me know if you have any questions!
