We're happy to reserve your date with a $500 USD deposit and signed contract. We frequently field inquires well in advance of a year, so advise our wedding couples to nail down their date with a professional photographer as soon as they've confirmed it, to ensure availability. You can hire us with an minimum package to start with - and get your date booked on our calendar. Our photographer reserves your entire day exclusively for you, so is available if you wish to add more hours to your package later on. You can hire any photographer you wish to, leeannes1, and don't need to rely on the one the RUI offers with their packages. We advise our wedding couples that if photography is important to them, they'll be so much happier investing in a professional to capture your Wedding Day Love Story!!! After your Big Day, when it's all over and the guests have gone home, all you have left are your memories and your photos. Choose the ones that are amazing enough to take you right back to those magical "moments that matter", complete with all the feelings you have at the time!!! Those are the ones you'll cherish for a lifetime. There are a lot of poor photographers here and many of them call themselves professionals and work for resorts as their official photographer. MTM has recently changed all the prices to accommodate couples who are working with a budget. So please have a look at the new prices and let us know if you'd like to invest in a professional. Just to let everyone know, who is considering bringing in a photographer from home ... that it is illegal for someone to come to Mexico and photograph a wedding without proper working papers. The same way people can not just travel to the USA or Canada and work. Cancun airport is very aware of this and as you will see... scans all luggage arriving when you go through customs. People traveling with more than one camera will need to answer for the equipment. We're not trying to scare you... just give you the facts of working in a foreign country. MTM has recently changed all the prices to accommodate couples who are working with a budget. We also work with you when your resort charges a substantial "outside vendor" fee to bring us in. We're not saying you need to hire us, there are many professional photographers available here who will create an an amazing photo record of your Big Day!!!
