  4. Congrats ashk on your upcoming Mayan Riviera wedding ! It all depends on which resort you choose. Some allow outside vendors, and some require that you book a room for them for 2 nights, and some don't allow outside vendors at all - as I said it depend on the policy of your resort. So many of our brides were asking about this exact question, we compiled a webpage with some answers here.........http://momentsthatmatterphotography.com/resortpolicies.html All that being said, you'll be much happier with a professional photographer's results than if you'd brought a friend who enjoys taking pictures for a hobby - or "Uncle Joe" who takes some great shots.....as seen in our webpage answer to that dilemna here......http://momentsthatmatterphotography.com/faqs.html Hope all your plans work out ok, and you have a terrific wedding here in our beautiful Mayan Riviera! 8. That's a pretty common scenario, and a fact of life here, but every place you go has its' "balances" - so it's best to focus on the good stuff, and "go with the flow" on the rest, because you're not going to change it, so no point in letting it upset you just my "2 cents worth" and one of the ways I've learned to cope with life in Mexico
