I agree with you tkuzma - about not expecting those kind of situations to happen back in the "real world" ..........however, I guess it goes to show that it can happen anywhere, and that it's good to stay flexible and "roll with the punches"....... Good instincts amanditaxo310 ! and good call on not feeling comfortable with paying all the money up front.......that is a big red flag for me as well ! I agree with you that a reputable business would have the practise of charging a deposit of up to 50%, but in my experience, it's always been a mistake to pay the full amount up front. Doing that leaves you with no leverage .....definitely not a good position to be in. I wish you all the best with your decisions, and that all your plans work out just the way you wish them to!
