Dilara,  The Fairmont is 100% sold out tonight. They had some last minute groups so they're unable to do a tour for us . I'm going to get some materials for you hopefully before the meeting and we can arrange another time when they're not full.  Still looking forward to meeting everyone though! If we can find eachother..haha! I get so nervous when I meet people in places and I don't know who they are. It's kind of like a blind date  Maybe we should leave our names with the people at the front and tell them we're meeting others so they can direct people that come in?

Can I possibly have a count of how many people are coming? I have these really nice Wedding and Honeymoon magazines that I want to bring along  Thanks!!

Signature/Sunwing are the same company now. They've merged under Sunwing but are still keeping Signature as an operating name as well..at least for the next little while. I'm assuming when you originally booked it was with Signature? I'm pretty sure your contract would state a one time price reduction (but please check with your TA). The original contract would still be the one you'd go to for any questions like this.

Hi Remdog, Â I've actually just been looking at flights into Huatulco because I have some clients travelling from the U.S that are headed there. There's a direct flight into Mexico City from Detroit (hope that's close for you?) and then you fly AEROMAR from Mexico City direct into Huatulco. No overnight's required. Aeromar is bookable online on their website only as far as I know, so it might've not been coming up in your searches. Try that!

I'm also interested to hear from anyone that's had a Wedding in Italy. I have a client who's looking at renting a hamlet or a couple of villa's there and I'd love to hear some feedback from someone who's done this!

Group bookings work with most suppliers (other than West Jet, who requires 10 ROOMS) that you need 10 passengers to make a group. The Bride and Groom are included in this number, so you really only need 8 passengers to confirm. Â I know when I did cookiemunchkin's booking with Sunwing, they had an Early Booking Bonus that was built right into the pricing. This bonus expired on August 31st, and it's likely that your Travel Agent wanted to get the payments in a few days before which is why you had an earlier date. I'm very confused as to how you do have a confirmed group with only 8 passengers though. Am I reading that wrong? Or do you mean you have 8 passengers and then yourself and your fiance? If so, then you do have a confirmed group and your final payments could never go up in price. That would just never happen. Â I also know that Sunwing will offer a 1 time price reduction should their pricing go down. Sometimes you might see lower pricing online for another supplier. I know it's hard to think about when you're having so many other problems at the moment, but sometimes when you do see pricing online it might be lower than your group price. The reason for this is that the supplier (in this case Air Canada) is trying to sell off some extra seats that they have. It would only work for a few guests, so rest assured that if you were to try and book your entire group with Air Canada that the rate SHOULD be higher. Â Has your agent requested a group rate from Air Canada for you recently? If you've all paid in full I don't think you can cancel without penalty but if your agent is offering that to you (with loss of deposit only), then you might want to consider..but look at the new group rate first. Â I hope this helps. I know it can be really confusing and fustrating!!

Welcome to the forum!!  I think it's always a good idea to weigh your options before going ahead with booking a Wedding planner. Sometimes the planner at the resort is going to be enough for you, especially in conjunction with your Travel Agent. If there's a lot of planning and your Wedding is going to be super detailed then this may be the perfect option for you  Either way, just give it some thought first and do a bit of research to make sure you're going in the right direction!  Good Luck!!

Hey Everyone, Â They will accomodate the tour for us at whatever time we want. I defintely don't want this to overtake the meeting, was just a suggestion that I thought might be helpful to some We can still meet at 6pm, and maybe I can get them to come by around 7:30? Perfect!! You're going to LOVE it. In my opinon, it's the nicest hotel in Vancouver by far..and I absolutely loved the Pool View Suites!! The Spa is also amazing, I spent a whole day there before my Cabana party  Should I perhaps make the tour for around 6:30? We can all grab coffees and have a chat and then bring them with us to go see the hotel? What does everyone think about that?

Hey Everyone, Â Just an idea, but let me know if anyone's interested in seeing any of the Suites at the Fairmont while we're there. I Â stayed in one of the pool view suites for my birthday, and rented out a few of the cabana's by the pool and it was amazing!! I have a good relationship with the Sales Manager and I'm sure she wouldn't mind showing us around if anyone is interested? Â Let me know.. Â

Hi Quinn  Your tour operator should have a desk at the resort, OR you can call the Public Relations desk and they can help you to arrange group tours. Both the bay tour, and snorkelling could be done as a group very easily. Also, just as a side note, there's pretty great snorkelling right outside the resort off the main beach  Another secret is that there's the greatest spot to see these really cool Iguana's. They're more like the size of a Golden Retriever, and they're all sorts of colours (green, purple, yellow). Don't worry, they're herbavores If you walk down the beach, close to the end you'll find the Quinta Real resort on your left hand side, and there's a little jungle section. This is where you'll find them, they're SO cool.  Huatulco is super safe, and if you're training for a marathon then this is perfect!! You can run into town and back, would probablly be about a half marathon..maybe a bit longer  I'm also sure you can get surfing lessons. I would google 'surfing lessons puerto escondido' and see if anything comes up.  If you have a bachlorette night, definintely go to 'La Papaya'. Sooo much fun, and I'm sure they'd set up something special for you. La Crucicita is the closest town, and definitely where you want to be

Hi Jen, Â I don't want to get anyone in trouble here, but I can see the flight times through Sunquest. It leaves Toronto at :15pm, arriving at 8:20pm. Â That's defintely subject to change as you get closer to the date..but there you go! This is flying into Montego Bay, that's where you're wanting info on right??

That date works for me too. Just let me know if we should do something on my roof top or if you want to meet somewhere else

I agree about the Iberostar Laguna Azul or the Iberostar Varadero. I also like the Barcelo Marina Palace or the Barcelo Solymar.

Oh and I'm around that week so would work perfectly Also happy to just meet up at a coffee shop or something like that too!
