We have decided to register, but I somehow want to let people know that they don't have to buy anything. My relatives in my home country that won't be able to make it are already asking about what kind of gifts we would like so I want to add our registry on the website so that it will be easier for them. I got a couple of suggestions on another thread where I posted this question, but I am still looking for something else.

Thanks Veronica! Nicola, I think you have already chosen I love both of them and I'm looking for something similar for my wedding. I say follow your gut feeling.

We are not doing suits. He will probably wear linen pants and a linen shirt. I looked at both (as Christa also only briefly). I loved the look of Sapphire more, but I liked the rooms at Jade better. I assumed they would have the same prices, but I guess I should know better than assume anything when it comes to weddings at Now I haven't decided yet. FI thinks it is unnecessary and that we should save the money, but I see all these great ideas on here for OOT bags with things I would like to get. I really want to do the travel mug thing, but I'm worried about how to get them down there. Maybe just koozies....

I am having a symbolic wedding too and specifically asked about Sunday, but Ana told me no weddings at all on Sundays. This possible "new change" is making me mad as Sunday would have worked out better for us. Grrr.... Christa, I am using Beach Bum Vacation as my TA. I have liked them so far, but we don't have anyone booked yet (only RSVPs on our website). I think I have sent you my TAs information before, did you ever contact her? Who are you using? That is weird! Ana told me they do not allow weddings on Sundays, because I wanted to book a Sunday and my TA had given me the Sunday as an option. When I called Ana she said they never do weddings on Sundays.

Las Olas as I understand it is an open air restaurant (roof but not walls on all sides type). I have pictures of the bamboo room, but I am not at my computer at the moment. If you choose the Eternity package, can you only choose dishes from the Eternity menu or is there an option to upgrade some of the dishes to something from the Divine package? I do not like the soup choices on the Eternity menu and not that the fish entree has bacon. Kind of defeats my purpose of offering fish to non-meat eaters. I hear ya! Â We have received more RSVPs even though I STILL have not sent out the STDs. Have to write addresses today and get those out. My FI keeps spreading the word about our website to everyone so if I wait any longer the STDs will be pointless 6 people coming so far and 2 who cannot attend. I am starting to think that I was wrong when I thought that about 20% of all invited would come, we are getting a great response so far and it seems like we might have a lot more guests than I anticipated. Anyway, as we say in Sweden, don't shout Hey until you have crossed the river They have to book too.
