Hey Philadelphia Brides, You guys may know already but just in case The Philadelphia Bridal Show at the Radisson Valley Forge is this Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 12-4pm and it's free! You just have to sign up online and register for tickets because there is a runway show of bridal gowns that you need tickets for!

Hey coconoir1908- Thank you so much for responding. I am actually going to be down there this Sunday to get my ring sized at the jeweler LOL But generally the Gallery is pretty far for us...but its funny because I was thinking about going with Liberty Travel there is one in the Willow Grove mall right where I live but I recently did not have a great experience with one of the agents that works there. (Long story short my friend is getting marrided in Punta Cana this June so I called her travel agent at Liberty to book, the agent first took almost 2 whole days to get back to me with quotes then she could not meet with me for another two days so by the time we actually met the rates had gone up!! I was pissed! I just think that particluar agent takes on more then she can handle) So I wish there was a way I could get info on each agent that works there so I could pick one...I tried googling for reviews and came up empty. I know you said you guys have been using your agent for years so years ago how did you decide to use her? I feel like if I call Liberty Travel and tell them what I want to do they will assign me to who ever is available at the time of my call. Thank you so much for responding I really appreciate it:)

That list is great! I know that I want to do ziplining and horse back riding for sure! There is definitely a ton of things to do!! I am going to let my guest know what excursions we will do and it will be up to them if they want to join us or do their own thing:)

Perry1217 that dress is perfect for a beach wedding! I think you did a good job! You girls are making me so excited to go dress shopping but I have told myself that I will wait until September just because I am so indecisive about everything its pathetic!! I am struggling with colors at the moment. I liked purple and lime green then one of my friends said they look like Barney colors so now I am thinking lime green and turquoise but my cousin used turquoise for her destination wedding back in 2008!! So I am so confused!! and oh the FI said pink is not an option LOL

Hello ladies I am crying as I am typing this because I lost my dad suddenly in 2008 and I was a daddy's girl and it has been so hard to accept the fact that he is not here. Everyone knows how much my dad meant to me. I posted my engagement story on here and if you read it the morning my FI was going to propose he took the video camera and went to the cemetery he placed the video camera on top of my dad's stone, got down and asked my dad for permission to marry me!! It was awesome. I felt so good to know that my dad was still involved in some way:) But as for the wedding itself I am having a hard time deciding how to honor him. My dad not being here is a very sensitive topic for me and my siblings I don't want everyone crying and making my wedding a sad day...My mom will walk me down the aisle and I am going to have a picture frame charm of him on my bouquet so that he will be walking me down the aisle too....but other then that I really don't think I nor my family will be able to handle much else....

Hello Ladies, I have a question for those of you who are hiring a photographer or DJ to come on the suites property for your wedding: I am aware that we have to pay a $100 vendor fee however does anyone know do we have to pay a day pass fee of $100 also? Is the day pass so they can eat? Which I would like to be able to offer them a plate but gosh not at $100 pp!! I read from a past bride that she had to pay two fee's to have her DJ come on the resort and I am just freaking out because for one I did hire a private DJ because the resort DJ was getting bad reviews and now supposedly the resort has a new DJ which has been getting good reviews but I will also be hiring a private photographer and if she brings an assistant then this is just blowing my budget big time!! I hope someone will be able to clarify this for me!! Thanks!
