I just restarted the Shred. Finished it months ago and loved it but then life got tooo hectic and didn't have time. I am Day 4 of Level 1 using 5 pound weights. Not looking forward to the next two levels because I know how intense they are but it will all pay off in the end!!!! Good luck ladies!!!

Just looked at the calendar and saw that I have just over five months to get my ass in gear!!! Things have been super stressful lately so I have been stress eating and not working out. We move this coming Friday so I am hoping once life settles back down I can really focus!!! I plan to start eating better this week and then bring the fitness part back in the following week.

I think it is perfectly OK to have the bridesmaids carry different flowers. That was the case at a friends recent wedding ... she carried orange calla lillies and her bridesmaids carried an assortment of fall flowers. They looked beautiful! I am set on callas as well ... bright green ones that I have seen and my bridesmaids will carry similar bouquets only their callas will be ivory instead of green. Here's a pic of what I want that I sent the florist in Costa Rica. I love the way it looks and hope the florist can recreate it!!

Finally decided on the acoustic version on I'm Yours by Jason Mraz .... brings a smile to my face every time I heard it!!! And I can't wait to dance with my new husband on our wedding day

Hello fellow Canadian DW brides, just wanted to share some info regarding decorations on sale at Walmart. One of my bridesmaids was there the other day and saw some cute paper decorations — lanterns, balls etc. So she bought a couple thinking it would be great for my shower, then realized they would be perfect to travel with. So we went last night and bought a bunch. They are Martha Stewart Celebrate and are super cute. I bought strands of mini lanterns with LED lights in my colours — aqua, green and white. And a few of the decorative paper balls. Will post pics soon, But good deals. They were regularly $20 something and the most I paid was $12. I was going to order paper lanterns online but with the shipping to Canada, it's not worth it. So glad I found these, so I thought I would share. Here are a few quick pics I took. All of my paper decorations ... might go back for more, not sure yet. Mini green paper lanterns with hooks and LED lights Cute decorative balls that can be hung or placed on tables ... what my BM first saw Cute flower LED lights. Bride wars = Anne Hatahway

Hi Ladies Also a November 2011 bride. We are getting married on 11.18.11 on Playitas Beach in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. We tried for 11.11.11 but the villa we wanted was already booked. We are renting a nine-bedroom villa for ourselves and our guests. We have a few others staying at a second villa nearby. The place is AMAZING, Casa de las Brisas and can be seen at www.escapevillas.com. We have 21 people booked so far and don't expect too many more people to come along. We have booked our photographer, officiant (he married P!nk and Carey Hart which is kind of cool), chair/table rentals, cake and are in the process of confirming the flowers. We will have a small wedding party, best man and one groomsmen and MOH and one bridesmaid. We were going to have three each, but I had some issues with my sister and it looks like she won't even be coming at this point but oh well, can't stress about that anymore. I found my dress in October, it is a Bonny that is perfect for a beach wedding. I had my first viewing of the dress last weekend and now know for sure that it is the perfect dress. I was having doubts but I am sure now!! Bridesmaid dresses are ordered. They are from Sears and are perfect for a beach wedding as well. All that is left really is to plan some sort of AHR, might not be until the summer when we can have an barbecue-type function. We really want to keep the costs down but we're not sure that waiting that long is a good idea. We also need to take care of the men's attire and that's about it. Oh, and shoes, I am dying to go buy some shoes!! I have fallen in love with a few pairs online only to discover they don't come in my size Here are a couple of pics to show you what we are planning. So I saw these dresses in the Sears catalogue a while ago and really liked them. Then I saw a few Facebook friends had the dresses, or wore them, and decided to order one to test it out. Well the colour came out perfect and both my MOH and bridesmaid loved them. They are only $79.99 CDN so a great deal as well. The dress is the strapless one in the colour of the second photo.
