  1. Just found a new one I am in love with. Was going to do the whole seashell theme, but when I saw this I was in love. We are going to have it made square though. I think it just so simple yet classy looking.
  2. For ours it's about 800 per person plus flights, which we were able to get for $515.
  3. Hello We are renting a villa from them, Casa de las Brisas, it's nine bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 22 I believe. All of their villas, from what I understand, are within walking distance of each other so I am sure you could rent a couple of them to accommodate such a large group. We have six people staying in a separate one because they did not want the all inclusive option. We are getting married this November and cannot wait!!! If you book the all inclusive it includes free transportation to and from the airport which is a two-hour drive. Hope that helps
  4. Love love love your dress! It's gorgeous. Shoes look great with it as well.
  5. Thanks! They took forever but I love how they turned out. We did not use a travel agent or wedding planner and chose to do everything on our own. Costa Rica is not big on all inclusives unless you stay in the Guanacaste area. While searching resorts and hotels we came across a property management company that rents all inclusive villas and loved the idea. So we booked one and then arranged flights separately. All of our guests, about 20, give the money to us and we send everything off so it has been pretty seamless that way. There have been a few hiccups but hopefully everything will be smoothed out shortly. It is coming up fast and I am soooo excited!!
  6. I made them in Adobe InDesign, if you have that program I can post the template or send it to you.
  7. Also getting married in Manuel Antonio but not Los Altos .... If you need information on local vendors I can send you the ones I am working with. They have all been great. We don't have a wedding planner so it really helps when the vendors you are dealing with are very informative and helpful. Good luck with all your plans!!
  8. A store near me called Target Canada (not the same as Target in the US). It used to be Designer Depot... not sure how many there are in Canada.
  9. Not the greatest picture (I was too lazy to go downstairs and get a different lens for my camera) but here is what my FI will be wearing. The groomsmen's outfits are similar except their shirts are a little darker.
  10. I'm not 100 per cent on the earrings just yet. My mom bought for them for me at an art festival she was at. They are pretty but I think I might want something a little more. My dress is one shoulder so I don't plan on wearing a necklace which is why I think I might need to go for a little more earring wise. Thoughts? Also pictured are a ring I made and bracelets I plan to wear, one from my mom the other from my bridesmaid.
  11. Here are my shoes ... I was out buying some new flip flops, since my puppy thought my existing pairs would make great chew toys, when I saw them. They are perfect for my dress which also has some flower detail in the single strap. I am soooo excited. A little over three months until we say I do!!!
  12. Hi everyone, just thought I would share my final mail out which is going out this week along with a print-it-yourself Spanish pocket guide I found on this forum. This forum has been sooooo much help in coming up with different projects to wow our guests with. So far I have sent out message-in-a-bottle invites with passport information books and boarding pass reply cards as well as brochures I had printed through Vista Print. This time I am sending fancy newsletters with important dates, travel information etc. I made them in In Design if anyone wants the template let me know and I will send. These took forever to get them how I wanted them but I am thrilled with how they turned out. Hope you all like them!!
  13. Mike Myers = So I Married an Axe Murderer
  14. I was also going to suggest the garter. It will be a nice surprise for him when he goes to remove it. And, it won't take away from everything else.
  15. It was great but not without drama!!! It seems nothing related to this wedding will be drama free! Well, hopefully the wedding itself will be. I had a great time as did everyone else. It was weird being the centre of attention. There were more people at the shower than will be at the wedding so hopefully it's not as bad being the centre of attention on the big day. The one thing that really disappointed me was everyone left so by the time my fiance showed up with a gorgeous bouquet, it was just my wedding party, mom and aunt who were left. But he tried!! Good luck with your shower alysam4785. We did well and really appreciate all the generous gifts. We registered at Sears and then asked for gift cards to a couple other stores like Home Depot, RONA and Home Sense, which me mostly got so that was awesome.
  16. Just thought I would share with all of you that my bridal shower is today. So excited!!!
  17. Stunning!!! What a perfect destination wedding dress. You looked absolutely perfect on your wedding day.
  18. Beyond ready!!!! I cannot wait until Nov. 13 arrives and we board the plane. Then on the 18th, we finally say I DO!!!
  19. Finally got my shoes!!!! I will post a pic a little later. When I saw them, I had to have them ... they are perfect for my dress. Best part, they were in a buy one get two sale with a price tag of $59.99 .... so when you take away the other sandals they were $20!!!
