  1. I purchased it online from koyalwholesale. I used it around my bouquet and votive candles and then used it on bigger candles and other stuff for candy buffet for my AHR. And I still have a little left. It goes a long way. http://www.koyalwholesale.com/pages-productinfo-product-16819/diamond_crystal_mesh_roll_bulk_-_silver_30_feet_333_foot_best_seller.html
  2. Hey Bride2012...I am a juicer too. LOVE IT!!! Sipping some apple, pineapple, kiwi, carrot juice right now....YUMM!! Thanks for the website and the video...added it to my netflix queue. I have my moments where I juice everyday and am really motivated and then I stop for like a week or so cause I just get lazy. Cleaning the juicer really does suck and can be such a turn off. I definitely plan on sticking with juicing once I start my routine up next week. I have to admit....kinda scared to start Insanity again LOL. I know I won't be as strong or have as much endurance as I did but I'll get there. (out, in, up, down...out, in, up, down)
  3. Hi girls!! So sorry to hear what you are going thru. I know how irritating and discouraging that could be. First I want to say I bet you are busting your butt and doing as much as you can physically and you should be proud of that. But there could be lots of reasons you are not seeing the changes you expected or your dress/clothes didn't fit the way you expected. I don't know your situations but I'm just going to throw some things out there that could be contributing to this. - not enough water - not recovering correctly (protein, glutamine, BCAAs, etc.) - not sleeping enough - not eating enough - not eating enough fruits, veggies, protein and good carbs - eating too much - eating too much white carbs, salt, sugar, alcohol - supplements (wrong kind, too much) - that time of month - stress and the list could probably continue quite a ways. I would just suggest that if what you have been doing does not seem to work or isn't getting you closer to your goal fast enough then maybe some changes need to be made. Cut out the weekend booze, cut out the happy hour drinks, cut out the treat you think you deserve, drink more and more water and when you think that was enough...drink some more, try different types of cards or protein sources, and anything else you think may be keeping you from your goal. And if you happen to feel drained, depleted and have no energy at all it just might be time for a carb re-load!! Those are fun and very beneficial but please do some research on it before you just start stuffing your face with any type of starch lol. I know you are all busting your butts...I know how hard Insanity is. But even with extreme physical activity if your nutrition isn't in line with that then you could be canceling out the hard work you've been doing, taking smaller steps toward your goal instead of bigger leaps or you could be doing more damage than good to your body. Like kellygrrrl said...if you think you are burnt out then take a day or two off or do another activity. If your body feels like it needs rest and recovery....TAKE IT!! But get right back into it and stick to a healthy nutrition plan and once it gets closer to your date/goal start making those little changes and cutting back that little extra something that you can live without for a while (alcohol, sweets, junk food). I don't know if any of that helped you girls out but it was just some thoughts I had. Hope you are all staying strong and sticking with it and listening to your bodies!! Happy Friday and have a great weekend!!
  4. We are going to Punta Cana and staying at Iberostar Bavaro. We have stayed at an Iberostar before in Montego Bay and loved it. Seems all the Iberostar resorts are pretty popular and have good reviews. Where do you want to go for your bday?? I am already excited and its more than 2 months away LOL. But they will fly by especially with watching our house being built in the same exact time frame.
  5. Thanks kellygrrrl!! I guess it would seem like a lot to others but I'm glad to be getting back to my normal routine of at least 2 vacations a year. We put that all on hold while we planned our wedding for 15 months and AHR for a total of 18 months. Back to normal finally!! DR in June and then back to Aventura in Nov for the 1 yr anniversary. This way I have something to always look forward to and a reason to stay in shape LOL. :smile159: (insanity jumping jacks hehe)
  6. Hello Insanity Ladies!! So our vacation is now officially booked which means I now have a reason to workout harder and start Insanity again LOL. We leave Jun 1 which means I have a little over 70 days to go. I think I am going to start up this wknd and I don't plan on doing the recovery week this time. I also plan on going to the gym to do full body once a week and bikram yoga once a week. I really hope I can stick to it and I hope one doesn't cause me to be too sore for the other. We shall see. How is every one else doing??
  7. Not sure if any of you future brides plan on using turquoise/aqua as your colors but I just posted my sashes, runners and napkins for sale. If any of you are interested let me know. http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/78706/turquoise-aqua-tiffany-sashes-runners-napkins#post_1745540 Also, I left about 5 or 6 vases with Cristina when I left and told her to let other brides use them so they should be there for you to use whether it be for welcome dinner, cocktail hour or wedding reception. I bet you could find some use for them.
  8. I am finally ready to get rid of the wedding linens that have been sitting around my house. 9. Hi ladies!! Well I have some good news. David and I are signing the paperwork today for our new house. We get to build it from the ground up and make it our own custom house...flooring, cabinets, counters, etc. We already picked out our dirt lot. So much fun!! What a great couple of months we have had...married in Nov, I got a promotion in Dec, David got offered a new job in Jan paying double, he started in Feb, we are buying a house in Mar, it will be ready at the end of May right after he finishes his Masters and then the first week of June we go on vacation!! What an awesome year so far!! Hope everyone else is doing great!!
  10. Great job kellygrrrl!! Keep at it. I like how your schedule looks. Looks like a great mix up and gives you the right amount of both. How can you say P90X yoga is light?? LOL! I know its not like the others but damn that thing is loooong and exhausting too. I seriously have not done a DVD in a good month or more. So bad. But we are about to book our June vacation so at the end of this month I plan on starting it up again and seeing how it goes. **SIDE NOTE** - we are signing our sales contract for the house we bought!!! Its a build-to-order home so we get to make it our own. Just picked out our dirt lot Monday and are signing papers today to finalize it!! WOOHOO we will be home owners very soon.
  11. You should have already signed your contract when you first decided to go with Palace. That is usually handled by the Miami office so it wouldn't be your WC sending you that. You may want to check with Yesenia to make sure you actually have a wedding booked. Yikes!
  12. I do not recall the resort charging me. I know she mentioned it originally but when I met with her and showed her what I had she said she would have them set everything up the way I asked.
  13. I bought 10 table runners. Usually the rectangular tables sit 3 or 4 people side by side. We had 9 tables in our setup. Your color wouldn't happen to be turquoise would it? I'm selling the runners, sashes and napkins.
  14. YAY another yogi!! It is very expensive. I try to buy the packages and they usually give you a discount but still....I've never paid so much for fitness before and it is hard to swallow. I just found a new spot so its $20 for the first two weeks and I've already gone 3 times. I'll have to cut back to probably once a week once I buy the package. Maybe I'll just go to the sauna at the gym and do it in there to save $$ LOL!!! I think my ideal routine would be bikram yoga, Insanity and full body routine once a week each and then ride my bike 2-3 days a week for 45-60 min. I'll get there one day hehe
  15. Awesome job on losing 25 lbs. What a great accomplishment!! Sounds like you are on the right track and doing everything the right way. Great job. Leaving in 2 wks?? That is so exciting!! ...gosh I need to get back into it.
  16. Congrats Joanne!!! We are definitely not on the baby-making path but we are on the home buying path. Started looking and got approved and we will see what happens now. Not a lot of homes out there right now in our area. Hope all you other ladies are doing well!!
  17. I never even met my officiant. First time I saw him was when I was standing at the altar with David. Never spoke to him after the ceremony either since we rushed off for pictures. I would not have tipped him even if we did meet him. The WC is a whole different story. She did an amazing job and got the biggest tip out of everyone. She did everything I asked, plus some, and everything went so well.
  18. Music!! I brought a CD for the ceremony and they did a great job of playing all the songs we asked them to and at the right times. We did the iPod for the reception and I would recommend that for small groups. No need to pay the big bucks for a DJ. Can't say anything about their musicians but it seems like everyone who uses one loves them. And just like Jess, I worked with Yesenia for months and months and she was wonderful as well. Looking back I am so happy with all my decisions and I wouldn't change a thing....ok well maybe a few....I'd stay longer and I'd spend more quality time with the friends and family that I rarely get to see instead of hanging out with the bridal party as much....I see them all the time LOL. Oh and I wouldn't stress about the little crap - especially the OOT bags which the guests liked but really didn't appreciate the little stuff and hard work that went into them.
  19. Hi ladies! I haven't gotten back into Insanity yet but I have been more active. Did Bikram yoga twice this week, rode my new bike to work twice this week and plan on hitting the gym this weekend. Feels so good!! I love Bikram yoga. Any other yogis out there? Jamie - I suggest taking it easy if you are burned out or feel unmotivated. Maybe try something else you like for the next few weeks and then, like Kelly said, start about 65-70 days out from your wedding. That will give you a few days to take off if needed within the 60 day program but knowing you will be in a bikini and your wedding dress should keep you pretty motivated during those few short weeks leading up to your wedding. Welcome new Insanity ladies!! Happy Friday!!
  20. Love the idea....guess why....we got matching tats once we got back. Special and meaningful to only us. I should post a pic. =)
