I'll be lucky if I get 60. The closer it gets the more drama I am going thru with ppl and more are saying they are not coming. I am just trying to let it go and know that the ppl who are showing up are the most important ones. I am already down two bridesmaids, one friend and several co-workers because ppl are starting to show their true colors. This whole process has been an eye opener for me. Good news is I do have my first official booked guest - my grandma!! That really made me feel good when she told me. I am about to hit the 9 month mark so hopefully family and the bridal party will start to book.

I am bringing my own chair sashes, possibly table runners, centerpieces, fans and other decor. I hope it all fits in one big suitcase along with the OOT bag items and I'll have someone else bring it since I'll have so much other stuff.

Just starting to work on my invites. I was playing around with the free template but I went ahead and purchased the advaned one and I'm waiting to get it sent to me. I have seen so many passport invites on here but I love yours and I plan on copying almost all of it. Thanks again for being so helpful and posting all the great info and details. You are awesome!!!

I am also doing the complimentary package. I plan on decorating with turquoise chair sashes, turquoise fans on the chairs for the guests, possibly a starfish hanging on the end chairs like Jessica said or some other type of decoration to line the aisle and possibly their beige aisle runner. Still thinking about the table in the gazebo. It will already have our sand ceremony on it so I do know if it needs more. With all the amazing and beautiful pictures I have seen from past brides I think less is better for the ceremony. I just plan to have all my decorations be multi-purpose so they can be used for the ceremony and reception.

Yea I couldn't believe she went that far to put that on me. I told her the same thing..."if you want to get pregnant go for it...dont push that off for me". I told her we will have other pregnant woman and guests with small children so its not a big deal but she seems to think it would be unsafe or would be putting her baby in danger by going to a foreign country. I laughed at that comment and just moved on. Thanks for all the support girls.

Thanks ladies. You helped calm me down a bit. I sent the package example to my TA and she said that they will try to match any package deal that any of my guests find. So hopefully it all works out and my guests still try to book thru her. I even realized that fiance and I can save a good amount of money doing it ($1000+)....that is crazy. The one girl who brought this to my attention happens to be a bridesmaid and is a travel deal seeker just like me. Well it didn't go over too well when we were discussing it yesterday and now there is some tension between us. She also decided to vent and tried to make me feel bad saying she is putting off having a baby because of my wedding and she cant believe that I am asking her to pay more when I know funds are tight right now. Ugghh drama already LOL!! I am so thankful I have you ladies to come talk to. XOXO

Hey ladies. So I am starting to freak out. I already have my hotel rooms reserved with my travel agent and started looking for flights since they just came out. Well a few others have looked online and found package deals for cheaper than if they booked separately. They want to do that if they do that totally screws up my group booking. I wanted the best possible pricing for me and my guests and I don't think I got it. I know package deals are always better but its a "get while you can" kind of thing. I am really getting worried. I sent the info I found to my travel agent but I don't think there is anything she can do. AAAHHHHHH

Aventura has two sides - the Cove side which allows kids and the Spa side which is adults only. Its a great option.

It was nice reading some of the posts to see that others are in the same boat. My father has decided to disown me due to the color of my fiances skin....such old school Italian thinking. My parents didnt get divorced until I was 17 but my mother was both mother and father as we grew up and did everything for us. She will be walking me down the aisle. Love the idea of having my fiance meet me half way. I have a long walk from the horse drawn carriage to the actual gazebo so I will have plenty of time to walk with my mom and then I can have my fiance meet me at the entrance of the gazebo. Thanks for the cute idea.

Hello all my ASP/ACP brides!! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. 2011 will be here in just a few days and its going to feel so good to finally be in the same year we are all getting married. I know its going to fly by for all of us. Try to enjoy every minute of all the planning and don't stress or get worked up. We are all going to have amazing weddings this coming year.
