  1. When you first sign up to have a wedding there you should be contacted by the wedding sales dept based out of Miami (I believe). For me it was Yesenia. I started asking her questions at first and then once they notified me who my wedding coordinator (Wilma) was I started contacting her directly. I told Wilma the locations I wanted to reserve to make sure I got what I wanted. They will send you documents showing you the ceremony and reception sites. When did you sign up to have your wedding there? You may have already posted this but what is your wedding date? Mine is the 18th!!
  2. Haha love the shirt!! Thankfully my FI has also had some opinions about some things which has helped but most of the stuff I take care of. He read this entire site and loved it.
  3. FYI...Beyond the Rack is having sales on wedding stuff....wedding dresses, BM dresses, shoes, jewelry and more. Crazy!!
  4. FYI...Beyond the Rack is having sales on wedding stuff....including shoes (Badgley Mischka). Go take a look for you ladies still searching!!! They also have wedding dresses, BM dresses, jewelry and more. Crazy!!
  5. Who cares about the weight. Let that go. How do you feel? Clothes a little looser? Body feet tighter and less squishy? Take measurements. STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF!!!! Good Luck at your fitting. Must be exciting!!
  6. I reserved the Solarium as well. I know its a very big area so I hope it doesn't look too weird with about 20 some ppl. I figured we can cut it off with the buffet and bar or something. Make it seem a little smaller.
  7. Beautiful. Who is the designer?? That is the exact style I like.
  8. You both are correct. Do not try to compare different workouts. Shannon's workout was created specifically for an upper and lower body day. It was setup that way on purpose and is beneficial for what she is doing. Doing a full body workout which includes supersets (doing exercises together or back to back) is something completely different and is beneficial as well. It is just a different approach. Like I said there a a million different types of workouts out there so do not try to compare apples to oranges.
  9. Oh damn!! That much have been tough. Make sure you are consuming enough protein and keep up the stretching.
  10. Awesome. Thanks for the info. Isn't Moon Palace in Cancun? Wouldn't it stop at the other Cancun resorts? (Cancun, Beach, Sun)
  11. Good Job ladies!!!! But please remember the number on the scale doesn't mean anything. It is how you look and feel. I stayed the same weight for 4 months straight while I was competing but my body changed DRASTICALLY. So please don't reply on what the scale says. It does not take into account how much muscle you have compared to how much fat you have. Just keep that in mind while you all are progressing. So...I start physical therapy today and I am excited. I hope that means I can start wearing tennis shoes or something. I have been wearing surgery boots for an entire month...so ugly LOL!! I promised myself I wouldn't go back to the gym until I start therapy since I am very bad at "taking it easy". So I plan to go in tomorrow and warm up on the arm bike (so cheesy but at least it will make me sweat a bit) and then I'll start with some upper body stuff this week. Hopefully I can slowly progress to non weight bearing lower body exercises soon. I love full squats and lunges. Best exercise for the lower body!!
  12. For those past brides. Did any of you take a trip to Playacar Palace to enjoy their facilities for the day? If so, how was coordinating that and how long was the trip? Is the transportation to and from free??
  13. Welcome. I am a few weeks before you. It will take some time but try to read thru this entire thread. U will learn so much. Good Luck with your planning. Ask any questions you want!!
  14. Oops you are correct. It was Zappos for these and then I ordered my flip flops from 6pm. Sorry for the confusion. I love Zappos - already returned them to get a bigger size - free shipping both ways. LOVE THEM!!!
  15. This looks like a good one. Great job!! I currently don't have one to share since I am recovering from foot surgery. But I have tons of workouts saved and I can post a few later but honestly there are a million different routines you can do - who is to say what might work for a specific individual. There are upper/lower splits, like the one listed below, 3 day full body splits, push/pull splits, circuit training, home workouts and so much more. You have to find something that fits with your schedule and your motivation level. The most important thing is to hit the weights and get off the cardio machines. If you lift weights and reduce the amount of rest period you can easily turn your routine into a circuit-like training session and get your fix of cardio.
  16. Kristi - #2 and #3 look gorgeous!! Sorry I can't pick one LOL.
