  1. ZAPPOS.com and 6PM.com are my favorite sites. eBay is always a good place to find stuff as well.
  2. Congrats!! Keep up the good work. Measurements are always more important than the weight. I weigh as much as some men do and I am ok with that. It is proportioned well on my body and I am very muscular so I know that the scale isn't taking that into consideration. Just keep that in mind ladies so you don't get discouraged when the scale isn't moving as much as you'd like. Measurements mean the most!!
  3. Oh boy!! I hope I don't get that email. I haven't done too much with Wilma yet except reserve specific locations. I have all my correspondence in a "WEDDING" folder just in case. Good Luck!! Maybe Cristina will be just as good or better!!
  4. Wow thank you so much for the info. I will definitely try that place out.
  5. Good for u girl!! Glad u finally got to see the results of your hard work.
  6. I am looking into getting these and reading on some of these threads has helped. Does anyone know of a popular place you can play around and try some on for fun? I want to see how they look before committing to buying them.
  7. WATER WEIGHT!! Ugh I AM NOT PROVIDING THIS INFO TO SUGGEST ANYONE DO THIS. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO WHAT I DID!!! Well being a previous competitor I found out exactly how much water I carry and a majority is in my lower body. I dehydrated that last week leading up to the competition. It was not fun, extremely unhealthy and unsafe. I was miserable!!! But I had to do what I had to do to step on that stage. Anyways...15lbs of water fell off in a few days and it was crazy. I didn't look like myself and my body didn't feel like my own. I have very big muscular legs/thighs thanks to 20+ years of soccer. I had to cut out the water to see the definition in my thighs and glutes. I was under supervision from a professional and this was for a specific goal. The moment I stepped off stage and drank the gallon of water that I was dying to chug....it all came right back on. A majority of our body is water and we need it to function properly. Since I have gone thru this and I have seen how is works and affects my body I would not be doing this for my wedding. It is almost impossible since we will all be at all-inclusive resorts eating and drinking days before the wedding. Please do not try to lose water weight for your big day. Do what you need to do to be happy with how you look and feel before you go. And then enjoy all the food and drinks you can consume LOL!!
  8. Great thread!! I am a fitness freak so I know I'll be at the gym the days before the wedding and I'll be dragging my girls with me. They have yoga, cycle, meditation, rock climbing wall and a whole gym. I am definitley looking forward to getting my workout fix while I'm there. I also agree with enjoying things in moderation...even though I have a hard time with it sometimes. After the wedding my workouts will consist of a lot of post wedding sex for cardio!! That should do the trick!! LMAO
  9. I found the same "I DO" at Michaels in the sticker section I believe. The shoes you fell in love with are so cute. If I didn't already have mine I'd consider them. So so cute!!!
  10. Funny...I am a vegetarian too and am very picky as well. Good advice on the chickpeas. I should eat them more often. So glad you found the light too!! Lifting heavy feels so good and it really helps sculpt the body. I really don't know why most women think that way. It's not like there are tons of women bodybuilders walking around. It is very difficult to get huge, bulky, buff, ripped and whatever term there is. A lot of drugs are needed to get to that level for a woman. I spent 6 months dieting and training for a figure competition and even though I gained muscle and was a lot stronger I was tiny when I stepped on stage....and that was 6 months of hard core training twice a day.
  11. I decided to go with... We'll 'Sea' You There Sorry, We Must 'Wave' Your Invitation
  12. You ladies seem pretty motivated. Keep at it!! Always remember that 80% of your results will come from what u put in your mouth. When you are considering eating something think to yourself "Is this getting me closer to my goal or is it taking me further from it". Eat food that is healthy and will fuel ur body. Treat ur body well by feeding it well. Don't put to much value in food - just eat to live instead of living to eat.
  13. I'm still interested. Already PM'd you. Keep me in mind. My wedding is in November.
  14. Well feel free to contact Yesenia with any questions you have. She can answer most of them or can pass you on to your wedding coordinator for those that she can't. How long are you staying there? We will be there starting the 15th. Any chance your colors are turquoise??
  15. Those look great. I just really wish I could pick the colors. But my guests might actually like having different colors. =) Thanks for sharing.
  16. We are doing a Honeymoon Regstry as well. This way ppl can contribute to us have a great time on our honeymoon since all our money is going to the wedding (paying for everything ourselves). We don't expect anything from anyone and we mention it on our website - "For those coming to Mexico your presence is gift enough. For those who would like to provide a gift we ask that you contribute to our honeymoon registry." It was easy to setup and we listed lots of fun things we want to do. I think its the best idea. We also plan to do another registry for house items once it gets closer and for those coming to the AHR. We don't live together yet so we could use nice new home goods. =)
  17. Just sent her an email asking if she can do what I am looking for. Her photos look good but I really didn't see many tropical looking bouquets which is what I want. So I will report back to you all what she responds with.
  18. Keep at it girl!! Stick with it and u will see some more changes...and hopefully in the lower half. Unfortunately we cannot pick and choose where the inches come off. Good Luck with the challenge.
  19. Wow this brownie sundae idea sounds amazing. A warm brownie with ice cream, caramel and fudge is my favorite dessert as well. I must consider this for my AHR!! Yumm
  20. Well I finally decided on my centerpieces. No flowers for me. These are ones that we are making and bringing with us. Our colors are turquoise, silver and white with a "blingy" theme. It is hard to see but the branches in the middle are silver and white and have glitter all over them. Also, hiding in the bottom of the vase is a diamond looking water activated led light. So once the reception starts someone can walk around and pour a little bit of water in each vase and they will light up. It is so cool looking. Also thinking of adding some turquoise flowers and led votive candles around them. All of the stuff was from Michaels and at 40% off thanks to my patience and buying one item at a time for a few weeks. Possible flowers for table Here is the light at the bottom.
