Hi Ladies!! Thanks to june11bride I found this great thread. Just got Insanity in the mail the other day and I was gonna wait until Monday to start but you all have me so excited to start that I am doing the fit test today and will go from there. I am already pretty fit, I workout all the time, I have competed in the past and I have done P90X as well. But I am so over weights and the the whole gym scene right now so I know this is exactly what I need. I love doing intervals and plyo so Insanity is the perfect thing. I hope I can still include hot yoga, hiking and cycling on some days throughout the program but I am looking forward to sticking with the routine and pushing myself. I am so excited to hear about everyone's progress. Can't wait to post my daily experiences. I am so pumped up right now I just want to leave work and go workout HAHAHA!!!

Thanks for your input. I know once I start I'll just have to see how things go and how I feel. On the hunt for the insanity thread.

Gosh Nicole - I LOVE reading your reviews. It got me all excited again. This is our plan so far... Tuesday: Arrive with some of the bridal party, meet with WC and check out the resort and wedding sites Wednesday: Pool party all day to welcome guests and hang out / Bachelor/Bachelorette parties in Play Del Carmen at night Thursday: Play Day at Playacar Palace (possibly) / Welcome Dinner for all the guests in the evening Friday: WEDDING!!! Saturday: Relax and have brunch with guests and hang out at the pool or swim with dolphins Sunday: Most guests leave and we head to Sun Palace for 4 days of honeymooning!!! I am thinking of doing an excursion on Thursday instead of Playacar and doing the resort on Saturday....decisions decisions LOL!! Nicole - Thanks for posting your review of the nightlife in Playa Del Carmen. We were debating between Cancun or Playa for the bachelor/ette parties. Cancun just seems so far and Playa is so close and convenient. We were in Cancun in 2009 and loved the nightlife so its hard to decide. I've been reading about the nightlife in Playa on tripadvisor. Did you check out any of the other spots or was it just Senor Frogs and Carlos and Charlies??

Got INSANITY in the mail yesterday and I can't wait to start it. Did you follow the calendar exactly? I want to do it right but I honestly like doing other stuff - hiking, cycling, running stairs so I am wondering if I have to follow it to a T. I know that is what is suggested -especially if you want to see the results in 60 days - but I want to see if others have done it differently.

Has anyone done (or know someone who did) the Wet n Wild water park? Was it worth it? Are there plenty of things to do there? Any one know how much it is to swim with the dolphins there?

Wow I can't wait to see the welcome book. I might just copy the whole thing haha. I love seeing all the examples on here but when it's someone who is going to the same resort almost all the info is the same and makes it so much more convenient. Sorry I can't help you ladies out with anything. You will all be long gone by the time mine comes around.

Take it easy like the doc says. Jessica - BD Shoot!! How exciting. I've done P90X before and loved it but I just bought Insanity and I plan to try that out...especially 2 months before the BD shoot. Amber - Looks like Jessica answered your cocktail hour question. I go thru the same thing with the OOT bags. I see so much stuff at the Dollar Tree or $.99 store or Target that I want to get but I'm have to tell myself NO...LOL!! I just keep a list of what I want and where to get it from for when the time finally comes.

Hi Alisa - Things are going good over here. I think I'm ordering my dress next weekend along with the bridesmaids dresses and FI already bought his suit. I have my bouquet, moh bouquet and groom's bout done and ready to be picked up, have my shoes and back up flip flops, finishing up my passport invites and sending them out next month, taking engagement pics sometime this month (a little late lol) and have my centerpieces figured out. I have all the ideas and items I want for the OOT bags but as you know I have to wait until I actually have a better idea of how many ppl are showing up. I can't wait to read Karen's review and see some recent pics. It's been too long since the last review. How is your planning coming along? Gosh you only have a few months. Lucky!!

Same here. I can't wait to wear my wedding dress all day....and again at my home reception.....and on any random weekend when I am bored. LOL!!!

Hi Ladies!! I've been out of the country for the last week so I am catching up on all the threads. Great job to those who have posted their success. So I had planned on getting Insanity once it got closer to the wedding but with so many ppl talking about it I figured I'd go look online. Just ended up buying it off eBay about 5 minutes ago. Very excited to get it and try it out. I figured why wait until the wedding - I have my 30th coming up at the end of May and a trip to Miami in June and Hawaii in August so why wait LOL!! Looking forward to trying these out. I already have P90X and love it but I think I'll love Insanity more since its mainly plyo/interval/cardio workouts My feet have recovered pretty well from surgery so most of my training is back to normal. Can't wait to start these!!

YAY...FI just got his suit today!! He won't let me see it until the wedding so I can't show u ladies any photos. But he said it fits him great. He went the custom route and got all his measurements taken. He likes slim fit suits and that is what he ordered and it fits him very well. A little tight in the thigh when he bends down but when walking its fits perfect...just the way he wanted it. Guess he can't get all crazy while dancing at the wedding LOL!!

Mine was assigned within a few months of signing the contract. I just started asking some questions about reception sites and what not and Yesenia advised me who my wedding coordinator was and that she would answer them.
