If anyone is still debating on where to book I would seriously consider this. Le Reve looks so beautiful and romantic and to have either del Sol or La Luna as your photographer is such a treat. I really wish I could have gotten a deal like this. Lucky lucky brides-to-be!!

HELLO FELLOW NOVEMBER BRIDES!! I was so excited to find this thread. More brides to discuss things with. 11~18~11 at Aventura Palace Resort. 18 is a very important number to both of us so our wedding date had to be on the 18th. I even skipped over 6 months (thought 6-18-11 originally) just to find another 18th on a good day LOL. Anyways....I briefly browsed thru the thread and I am so excited to see other Palace brides on here. Planning is going well but like most of you everything is figured out and now I just have to wait to find out how many guests are showing up. - Buying my dress this Tuesday (super excited to check that off) - Bridesmaid dresses are narrowed down to 4 dresses from the same designer - Passport Invites are done (on the computer) but waiting for a new cute picture of us to put on them before printing - Invites getting mailed out in June with an RSVP of 8/18/11 which gives me 3 months to buy the things I need - Already have my wedding shoes and back up flip flops - Making BM gifts (bedazzling flip flops, wristlets, etc.) - FI has his white linen suit already - Already have La Luna booked for my photographer and I am super excited about that - We are waiting for Virgin America to come out with their November pricing for flights down to Cancun - super cheap!! - We are booking our flights home this weekend using our Jetblue points (FREEEEEEE!!!) - We have 8 ppl booked so far Right now all my stress is coming from the AHR. FI and I are paying for our wedding and his parents are offering to pay for the AHR. It's going to be big and formal and it's stressing me out!! I am trying to leave it all up to FI and his parents to decide on budget and location and other things but I am the type of person that needs to be in control so I am doing so much research and contacting places and getting pricing but its pretty much up to them so I feel like I'm just spinning the wheels and going no where. UGH!! But I want to make sure my FI is happy and gets the wedding reception he really wanted since he agreed to having a destination wedding knowing most of his friends won't be able to make it. So besides all of that I am celebrating my 30th bday this weekend so that should take my mind off wedding stuff for a while. Until Tuesday when I go to buy my dress and all the thoughts start flooding my head again haha!! Have a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend everyone!!

Some how I missed this reply. Darn it - you are leaving the day before we fly in. We will be at Aventura the 15th - 20th and then we head to Sun Palace for our honeymoon until the 24th. My colors are turquoise, silver ans white. I really have no clue on the number of guests....hoping between 20-30 but right now its 6 booked LOL!!!

Well its nice to know others did this and didn't have a problem with it. I remember you mentioning the snacks. I'll have to make a note of that.

There are several brides on here that have had great success with weight loss. There is a big group of us doing Insanity. It's only 60 days and the results are amazing. There is P90X which is a 90 day program. But if neither of those are your style I would suggest really cleaning up what you eat and just get moving. Weight train at least 3 days a week and cardio in between those days. I'd also suggest walking...everywhere...all the time. I walk during my breaks at lunch while I am at work. By the time work is over I've walked 3-4 miles and it doesn't even feel like it. Then I have the option to go to the gym or not. What things are you doing now? Are you active at all? How is your eating?

Yea that sounds like my situation too. Most are family and bridal party so they will be with us taking pictures. Glad I get to hear back from you long before mine to see how that turns out.

I want to do an official cocktail hour/party but the funds just might not be there. I know some other brides have sent their guests to the main lobby to hang out and eat/snack on stuff until the reception. I was going to try the same thing but I feel we may lose some guests if I don't keep them corralled LOL. Crossing my fingers that we get enough rooms nights booked for at least a free cocktail hour.

Hey Kelly - Well I have no experience with month 2 yet but I would recommend sticking it out and pushing thru. The program was designed to keep your body guessing and it makes you push past your comfort zone. You will be tired, sore and exhausted but that is what is going to get you those INSANE results in just 60 days. Keep at it, don't give up and know that you are going to look amazing after all this hard work!!

Gosh I should really take a picture to show you ladies. We are not done yet but at least it will give you an idea. We are just gluing different color blue, turquoise and clear rhinestones on the straps with the E6000 glue. Each pair have a different design. They look so cute and are so sparkly when you put them on. And they will look even better with tan feet and a french pedicure LOL!! I'll upload pics as soon as I have 1 pair done.

I am so glad I was able to help you decide. I looked at everyone's portfolios over and over and even though they all look great and I would have been happy with any of them I was just stuck on Rachel's photos. Great choice Liza!!

BTW...we bought the flip flops from Old Navy - 2 pairs for $5 - and the rhinestones/crystals from Michael's with the 40% off coupons. So so cheap!!!

My sis (MOH) and I are doing them right now. They are turning out so darn cute. We might start up a biz LOL!! I'll post pics as soon as they are done. Its so much fun.
