I am so excited for you!! We plan to do the same thing next November. We head to Sun Palace for our honeymoon after Aventura this year so we will probably try out another Palace resort next year....maybe even the DR one.

Haha I wear mine in my room (carpeted) every night to get them worked in. I think its helping...and I love putting them on.

My guests are paying $154 pp/pn - 6days/5 nights = $770. Flights have been around $490 for most of them so a total of just over $1200 for most guests.

Well it was Wilma....and then Cristina...and then I just got an email from a Mercedes. I am getting confused. Hopefully there is no confusion on what has already been agreed upon for my wedding. Cristina has been really good and has answered all my questions. I hope I get to stay with her.

I feel a lot more ready after yesterday. I received the OOT bags, lanyards, playing cards, notepads and gummy flip flops from OTC yesterday in the mail. I also placed my order for the luggage tags, room key holders and the LED votive candles we will be using. I also have the templates done for the luggage tags, room key holders, chapsticks, first-aid kits and monogram stickers. The pre-travel brochures were purchased and should be coming in the next 2 weeks. It felt so good to get that all taken care of and checked off. Just waiting to make the trip to the $1 store to get the other stuff for the OOT bags. Oh....and waiting patiently for the phone to ring and have it be the bridal store telling me my dress came in hehe.

How fun!! What perks do you get for going back? I thought I read something about that somewhere. FI keeps joking with me about what I will do once I have no weddings/receptions to plan. Told him I'm already thinking of our vacation in May once he graduates with his masters and our 1 yr anniversary trip haha. I always have to be looking forward to some type of vacation.

Hey ladies!! How are my Aventura brides doing?? I am down to 2.5 months. I have gotten so many things checked off the list recently....feels so good. I know these 11 wks are going to fly by. Just found out my mom and sister are throwing me a bridal shower (which I never expected) and then my step mom and sister and throwing me a bridal spa day party. Fun fun!!!

Natalie - I loved your wording so much that I stole it!! Thanks for sharing. Here are the ones we are thinking of. Anyone have some good ideas on how to word it that its a black and white affair and all guests must wear black or white? Do I need to be so blunt? I think many will not know what it means or may not pay attention unless we spell it out for them. We plan on inserting a small card with that info along with what time the ship boards, departs, map etc. Also, can you guys chime in on the "Hosted by" line ? His parents are paying for the reception but they would like my parents names on there. Does it look weird with so many names...so many different names? Thoughts??

Good for you girl!! Keep it up. I just started the 4th week. I am really nervous to start the second month. Just the first day looks crazy....fit test and a whole workout session...YIKES!!

I am a previous competitor. I totally understand where you are coming from and personally my wedding and those pictures that I will have for eternity would be more important to me so I'd want to look better in those pictures and do what is needed to feel my best at that moment in life. If need be, you can push our your next competition if you feel you are not ready or maybe you can build more for the following competition if you are unable to gain enough during this cycle since you would be cutting earlier than expected. I think you could probably go a little easy on the cutting phase before the wedding and no be too strict so you will have some room to enjoy yourself on vacation without getting sick or regretting anything. Then hit it hard when you are back since you will still have about 3 months to cut. Just think....is it more important for strangers to see you looking your best on stage....or is it more important for all your closest friends and family to see you looking your best on the most important day of your life? Do you want to look your absolute best in your wedding dress and a bikini all week and in the thousands of pictures you will have from that amazing wedding vacation?? Do what feels right and what will make you the happiest!!

BTW...I am working on making my own Do Not Disturb door tags, printing out my handmade monogram to stick on the little things in the OOT bags and the personalized chapstick labels. Since I love to save money wherever possible I decided to use shipping labels as the sticky paper for both the monograms and the chapstick labels since we have tons here at work and they just sit there an never get used. Love saying a few bucks whenever I can.
