LOL you girls are hilarious!! I am right there with you. I have thought about the clothes and shoes I'm bringing so many times. I move 1 month before we fly out so I am glad I have time to settle in and then pack. I am just like you Pucca and I always bring my suitcase out 1-2 weeks before vacation and start throwing things in there and then pack and re-pack right before. This time I think I'll probably start packing things in the suitcase before the move and just leave them there to make things easier. Oh and my wonderful FI just bought be a 3 pc luggage set that I wanted so bad. Its TURQUOISE!!! Can't wait to use them for the wedding. I have already purchased 2 pairs of wedges I plan on bringing with me (totally justified the purchase since I don't have any haha) - one white, one black - then I plan on bringing just 1-2 pairs of heels to wear at night and then my favorite flip flops of course - including the pair I bedazzled myself!! I made rhinestone BM tank tops that say "Brides Entourage" for all the girls and bedazzled flip flops for them so I plan on giving them out early and asking them all to wear them on the plane. I think it will be so cute to have the group matching!! And I keep thinking about the bathing suits I want to buy but I'm not ready to do that shopping yet. I think I'd end up seeing too many others before we leave and buy way too many. I have 2 I bought during the summer and I'm dying to wear but I definitely need some more...RIGHT??

Hi Vanessa - As FutureMrsDawson stated you can search for the master list to help you decide what to put in them. That list and many other brides posts have helped me decide. My OOT bags will have a welcome letter, a Riviera Maya brochure, a "Big Day" time line, Do Not Disturb tag, word puzzle made with our own words, first aid kits, survival kits, room key holders w/ lanyards, tropical notepads, tropical magnets, flip flop playing cards, gummy candy in the shape of flip flops, photo sharing cards and probably some other stuff I am forgetting I already bought LOL. My survival kits will contain: advil, pepto, tums, hand sanitizer, gum, wisps, chapstick, sunscreen, tissues, safety pins, wet wipes, crystal light and snacks...and anything else I run across. The photo sharing cards are cards that state an account has been created on a photo sharing website (i.e. shutterfly) and we provide login info so everyone can upload the photos they took from vacation. Easiest way to share photos with your guests. Hope this helps!!

I called and they said its shipping next week so they should have it by the first week in Oct. So anxious!! I remember how beautiful it is so I can't wait to see it again.

I just bought the strips the other day and plan on using them starting in Oct. My teeth are fine now but any extra bit helps. I'd say save your money and go with the strips. It won't make much of a difference overall. You will still look amazing!!

Ok so I got a quote back from Fernando and Adrian. Now how do I decide?? I am just doing hair. HELP!!!

Well the ones I have contacted are almost $200 just for the session. Hair and make-up extra of course. And then the prints are like a 10 page album for $400-$500. Really? Just 10 friggin photos!! If I wanted one more photo its like $50. If I just wanted digital it was like 100 images for $1500 and all images for $2500!!! WTF!! That is what I am spending on my wedding photographer. You can't even compare the two. Gosh its frustrating. So I do have options....my mom is a photographer but not good at shooting people. And then my sister's bf has been into erotica photography for quite some time but I just don't know if that is ok. I think I'd feel uncomfortable. I think I'd rather it be a stranger LOL!! I think that besides saving so much money going with one of these options the benefit is that I will have access to every single picture taken of me and I can do whatever I want with them.

Yea the gifts for all parents is tough. We have 5 to think of. And then I think well if we do them should I do by G-ma (only grandparent there)? Well if we do her should we do the Aunts that are coming (no uncles around)? Ugh!! More stress

I am getting a bit anxious. I have so much done but I feel like there are so many things going on before we leave (moving, bridal shower, legal paperwork) that it's getting me worried that I'm gonna forget something or be running around the last few days. Thankfully we leave very late on a Mon night so I have all weekend to pack and double check my lists. Oct is almost here!! It will feel so close next month.

Yea its very hard to justify the price. How can it cost so much to take a damn picture and give it to me? My issue is that my mom is a photographer but doesn't do anything like this type of photography....no studio, back drop, props, lighting, etc. So I could take countless pics for free but they wouldn't look anything like what I would get from a pro. She took our engagement pics and I was not happy with most of them. Had to let her know that this really isn't the right type of photos for her. She does amazing sunset, floral, nature pics....just not very good with people. Decisions decisions....

I always planned on doing the BD album so I starting researching some photographers in the OC area. Did I just run across one this has absurd pricing or do most of them? I was shocked to see how much I have to pay to get anything from them (prints, digital, albums). Maybe I just need to do some more searching. What a shock!!

Here is a pic of my FIs custom band and my e-ring with the two bands. Oh and I threw in a pic of my sausage finger with all three bands on it so you can see just how squished it is LOL. MAN HANDS!!!!

I love how there are other girls out there with sausage fingers like me. Hehe! Don't you just hate it. Anyways....we just got our bands this weekend so I'll take a nice photo of all of the rings together and post them. Unlike some of you I was excited to get a wedding band....2 actually. A band goes on each said of the engagement ring. It looks so good and I just love it. Since I do have sausage looking man hands I will actually have to re-size all the rings now since having 3 bands on my finger squishes all the fat out and then its too tight and hurts. My e-ring fits so comfortably now so I'll wait until the last minute to get them re-sized. I'd be afraid I'd lose it. Picture to follow tmrw....

Beautiful location. I would think some type of altar, huppa or something that helps provide a focal point for you two up there. Even some tall vases on stands or palm tree looking plants that are tall. But the background is gorgeous enough so you don't need too much. Good Luck!!

I leave in 8 weeks!! Can't believe its getting this close now. So...I purchased a few more things for the OOT bags at the swapmeet this weekend which felt great. I've been printing out the stickers I need (chapstick, first aid kit, survival kit, etc.). Waiting for my VP orders to arrive with DND tags and OOT bag tags. Also found something I could use the numerous RSVP postcards I have from our invitations...I am putting a shipping label on the back to cover the wording and putting photo sharing info. Thought that was a great way to use them up. Oh and I move into our very first apt (we don't live together yet) on Oct 15th. So excited!! He gets to move in once we are married lol. This way I have a whole month to settle in and get things situated and organized before we leave. There is so much space in the apt and I can't wait to use a very large closet that is has for all my wedding stuff. Seems so weird to be excited about a closet but I am haha!! How is everyone else doing??

I know we have had a few pages about the powder now so....I was hoping we could go back to the main topic. Wondering if there are other suggestions on what to pack since I am only 8 weeks away and I want to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. I have two checklists already LOL!
