Good idea. I plan to start packing the first week in Nov to get things started. I hope the day we leave the luggage is packed, zipped and locked and I can just relax and enjoy it all.

Yes it sure is. I've been busy every weekend which has really helped with that. Can't wait for our month to be here. It's going to be such a great feeling.

Awsome!! Seems like you are just about ready to go. Salsa for the first song....how fun!!! I have a few major things coming up that are taking up my mind/energy....paper signing tmrw, BD shoot Sat and bridal shower Sun. Once that is all done I will feel a bit of relief because nothing else until the wedding. That will give me time to focus and get everything together. I believe my OOT bags are done but I need to lay them out and see what I have. Finish making all our playlists, CD for ceremony and CD for DVD. Figure out how I want to change the minister's ceremony reading to my liking and submit it to my WC for approval. Parents gifts!! Ugh what a headache. Finish up some DIY things And PACK!!!

Yay Alysa!! I am so excited for you. I really hope I get to hear from you before I head out on the 14th. Glad to see you got a lot of things checked off. I agree with Jess - putting them together once you are there will make packing so much easier. The bags will lay flat and then you can just pack all the items on top of them, hopefully all in one suitcase. At least, that is my plan. Thankfully my BM is a prof makeup artist so I have that covered. I decided to book Adrian for my hair to make sure it looks the way I want it to....and stays. LOL I am very happy with that decision so far. Crossing my fingers. My checklist seems pretty manageable right now. I know the last few weeks will be crazy. Thankfully David will be out of school (masters) the first week in Nov so I will finally get his undivided attention haha.

We are doing the "paperwork" here on Friday and then doing the symbolic ceremony in Mexico. Just wanted to make the process easier. I have most of the OOT bag stuff bought and the DIY stuff put together but I need to actually lay them out, see what I have for each bag and figure out if I am missing anything....oh and take good pictures to share with all of you!! And something that keeps slipping my mind....I need to send out the pre-travel brochures and luggage tags. I'll probably do that next week. I am so excited about this weekend...but I honestly can't wait to have it all done...especially the BD shoot. It will mean I am just that much closer to heading down to Mexico!!

I too have people who do not get along and need to be on opposite ends of a very long table (divorced parents) so I have made a seating chart for me to look at but I will probably just do place cards on the plate so people know where to sit. With 25 guests it isn't too hard.

My dress is charmeuse and just moves so beautifully when I walk. I love it!!

Wow Mwise its so close!! Great job girl. I bet you are going to look amazing in those bikinis...and of course your wedding dress!! I finished Insanity last week and feel so good about it. But now I feel lost LOL. Everyday I am trying to decide...do Insanity, go to the gym, go to hot yoga....decisions decisions. I have my BD shoot this weekend so I hope all the hard work shows in the pictures. Gotta keep it up though. I leave in just 4 weeks!!

Sorry to hear about your family drama but I can tell you that you are not the only one. I think most of us have gone thru some family issues during the planning process and we probably all still have more to come. For me it started with my dad disowning me and not speaking to me for 1yr 9 mo because David was black and my dad is old school Italian. But we are lucky that he came around, apologized and now he and my step-mom are attending the wedding. They have met David and adore him and we have all moved on. Now that they are coming I have to deal with my mother complaining about my dad and step-mom and how she doesn't want to see them or sit close to them or this or that. Ugh!! I also had a similar issue as you. FI and I are paying for our DW and I hand-made our passport invites and I followed etiquette and I put just our names on it. Well that didn't go over too well with his folks when they finally got to see them. They were upset because we weren't "honoring the families". I held my ground and FI was caught in the middle but he understood what I did and why I did it and had to talk it out with them. Since they are paying for the AHR their names will most certainly be on that invite. And they are also insisting on putting my parents names on there as well to honor all of them. I finally figured out some wording that I think sounds good and we need to see if everyone else is ok with it. Trying to please others is so exhausting sometimes. Glad to hear you tried reaching out to your mom. Sorry to hear that whole side of your family is giving you issues right now. Must be so frustrating. Try not to focus on that so much because it will only bring you down and affect your relationship with your FI. Instead, focus on something wedding related that makes you happy....OOT bags, packing list, music playlists, shopping for honeymoon, whatever it is!! Good Luck and keep us posted!! <3

WOOHOO!!! I AM DONE!!!! Thanks Kelly!! Did my last day on Friday. I still have one more Fit Test to do but I really don't even care. Since FI is starting with month 1 right now I actually did Pure Cardio on Sunday. Kind of miss that one LOL. I plan on doing Pure Cardio, Max Cardio Conditioning, Cardio Abs and maybe another one throughout the weeks mixed in with weight training, cycle and hot yoga. Really hope I continue to see progress....especially with cleaning up my diet more. How is everyone else doing? Haven't heard from any of you.

Hi ladies!! Hope everyone had a lovely (and probably busy) weekend!! I know I sure did. I moved into our new apt on Sat. I absolutely love it!! The move went so fast because I was organized, packed and ready to go. Spent the rest of the weekend just figuring out where to put everything. I was a little upset when I realized that the apt people told me the fridge was on the opposite side of the kitchen than where it is so when the fridge arrived on Friday we had to send it back and wait until Monday to get one that opened on the correct side. That was frustrating...no food or drinks all weekend. So we spent a lot of time at David's place. So that is one major thing checked off. YAY!!! I have my court/paperwork on Fri, my BD shoot on Sat and my bridal shower on Sun. I get exhausted just thinking about it all LOL. My sis did a great job of spontaneously asking David to borrow the flag because she is trying to match that exact color of red to something. He was like "sure". Has no clue....it was great. Now I just need to try to steal the soccer ball out of his trunk of his car....hmm. Getting my nails and tan done on Friday and my bridesmaid is doing my makeup Sat morning before the shoot. Still trying to figure out what to wear for my 4-5 outfits. I am pretty excited to see how these turn out. My sis is coming along for encouragement so I think I will be ok. We leave in 4 weeks!! Something that is stressing us out a little is we still have 2 bridal party people who haven't booked their flights yet. So annoying. Oh and AA canceled our flight and re-scheduled us to a slightly earlier flight. They did it a long time ago and I found out by trying to see how many seats were still available on our flight but the flight no longer existed. They just finally notified us...4 weeks out. Thanks for the warning AA. So we will see what happens with those 2 people. We wanted the entire wedding party on the same flight but if they don't make it oh well. I can't worry about that. Major things I still need to do for the wedding... - music playlists for welcome dinner, ceremony, reception, etc. - re-wording the minister's ceremony reading and vows to my liking - get gifts for the parents - finish and put together the OOT bags to see if everything looks good - make spa and salon appointments for me and the girls - purchase a white bikini and other stuff for wedding/honeymoon Happy Monday!!
