  1. Thanks!! It's called Diamond Wrap and I purchased it from Koyal Wholesale. I love it. I used it on my bouquet and glued it to my led votives. It looks like rhinestones/crystals but it isn't. Still have tons left over to use at AHR. =) http://www.koyalwholesale.com/pages-productinfo-product-16819/diamond_crystal_mesh_roll_bulk_-_silver_30_feet_333_foot_best_seller.html
  2. I put them back in the box they came in along with a few other things and put them into the huge duffle bag we had all the wedding stuff in. They made it there and home in perfect condition. Pic of me with my bouquet.
  3. I posted a long time ago but here I am on the big day with my beautiful bright bouquet. So gorgeous!!
  4. Its hard trying to stay on track, especially with the holidays. But don't let a few days lost of lots of extra helpings this time of year mess you up. Just get right back into it and you won't lose any progress...trust me. It's been about 2 weeks of doing nothing and I still feel great!! Just realized your W-day is 2/14 and my AHR is 2/11. So we will be making progress together girl. Keep it up!!
  5. BTW....I have to stay in shape since I have to fit into the same dress and look just as good in Feb for a AHR reception. Hope I don't indulge too much over the holidays hehe!!
  6. Thanks sweety!! I honestly felt really good. I never walk around in just a bikini cause my ass and thighs usually has lots of cheese but not any more. My sis kept telling me gosh your ass looks good!! Yay me!! In 75 days you could see some amazing changes. Keep at it girl!! Side note: Its been 2 weeks of pretty much doing nothing, just eating and drinking, and I still feel really good and tight in most places. Its crazy!! Gotta love Insanity!
  7. This is what my table setting and centerpieces turned out to be.
  8. Just wanted to share a pic from our honeymoon where we both think our hard work with Insanity shows. Too bad you can't see all the definition due to the lighting.
  9. Just wanted to throw in a pic of me and David on our honeymoon. We both thought this was a great pic to show off our hard work with Insanity!!
  10. My hubby in his all white suit. He looked so damn good. Warning: Get the lining if you order white. He didn't get it on his pants. Whoops!!
  11. I decided on Evening Star by Isabella Rix. So beautiful with a slight tropical feel. The bridal party "performed" to Don't Wanna Go Home by Jason Derulo. We exited to Marry You by Bruno Mars.
  12. Just to add some additional info... It rained Thurs and absolutely poured on Sat but Friday was beautiful, warm. slightly windy and absolutely gorgeous. We got so lucky. I think I would have had a meltdown if it was raining like it was. Cristina was an amazing WC. I can't say enough good things about her. She did a fantastic job of setting everything up and making it all work. The carriage picked me up close to the room we were getting ready in and we had to wait a while (in the shade) while the bridal party did their performance. Then they dropped me and my mom off at the top of the stairs, we walked down the path (yes there were people laying out right there next to the gazebo oh well ), my dad walked me down the aisle, the minister read my whole ceremony script as I wrote it but had a very hard accent so was hard to understand at times, we had David's sister read the sand ceremony script, and then we KISSED!! The ceremony went very well. We rushed to take pics since the sun was already setting and getting dark fast. We took our individual pics and before we knew it the reception was starting. We had a friend be in charge of our iPad to play the specific playlists we created, food was delicious (Yucatan), we did dances, speeches, cut the cake (delicious), threw the bouquet and tossed the garter within the first 2 hours so our photogs could capture those moments. Then we were able to get everyone up to dance for 2 full songs. That was so awesome. Then half were dancing, half were sitting and talking and then it ended at 10. Some of us headed to the disco but stopped in the lobby to ride the bull....yup a mechanical bull. When it was all over we went back to the room, took showers, ordered room service and 2 slices of our cake and they brought the whole damn thing to us LOL. It was so good....I hated having to leave it behind. Well I want to keep this brief for now but please ask any questions and I will continue to work on my full review. Side note: Video - it was good but not great. We are glad we got it so we could have those memories but his editing SUCKED!! He missed a part of the dancing and decided to add in a repeat part of video that did not go at all. So bad. Also it sounds like the minister reads the ceremony in a sound proof backroom and then they add it in and then they add in our voices when needed and it is so obvious because of the background noise. That bothered me too. But oh well - at least we got it on video. Here are some more pics of the reception site and cake. Our reception was held at Solarium Mundaca. Even though it was big for only 26 people it was still gorgeous, had great views and felt so private.
  13. Hi hun!! So sorry. I've been so busy catching up at work and trying to load all the photos to a shared website and organize them and all that fun stuff. I've totally neglected you Aventura brides. So so sorry!! I am still writing up my review but should be done very soon. Here are some pics from our guests from the wedding. The bridal party danced down the aisle so I am throwing in one of those. Gives you a good idea of how the view is. GORGEOUS!!! The pro pics won't be done for about 8 weeks. Sucks!!
  14. I am also working on getting my name changed. What a process. Think about every single thing your name is on - besides just identification stuff - ugh not fun!!
  15. Hi ladies!! Sorry but I've been so busy with trying to get photos up and online for everyone else to see and I kind of neglected my lovely Nov brides. So sorry! Also, it took a while to get some good ones from my guests. No one used my camera so I had to wait to see what others had. I know the pro pics are going to look so amazing. Haven't received any teasers from La Luna yet but the ones they showed me on their camera that day were absolutely amazing!! Can't wait to share those once they come. Here are a few pics I have. David and the bridal party danced down the aisle to "Don't Wanna Go Home" by Jason Derulo. They did a fantastic job....especially David. My mom rode with me in the carriage and walked me down the long path and my dad walked me down the aisle. It was perfect!!
  16. Hi my lovely November brides!! Im still at Sun Palace getting a pedicure as I type. We fly home tmrw. What a wonderful experience. The whole wedding was gorgeous, ceremony was a hit (David and the whole bridal party danced down the aisle to a choreographed dance....they did such a great job) and the ceremony script I put together was lovely and several guests commented on it. The reception was a blast...food was great and we got everyone up to dance for at least two songs. Aventura Resort was beautiful!! The days flew by and I don't feel like I've been on vacation for 9 days already. I want to stay lol!! I got to see the video last night and I can't wait to see the photos. La Luna did a fantastic job of capturing amazing moments. Everyone loved the OOT bags and ended up using a good amount of the stuff in them. Palace Resorts offers credit to use at the spa, on excursions, upgrading the room, etc. Most people either got $750 or $1500 to spend. They loved it. Palace Resorts is amazing!! Well we fly home tmrw and I don't go back to work til Tuesday so I have plenty of time to post pics, videos, write reviews, post my planning thread, etc. Hope u all have a fantastic Thanksgiving!!!
  17. Hi ladies!! I am currently at Sun Palace soaking up some sun. My brief review....everything was amazing!! Cristina did a great job of setting it all up the way I wanted. I got so so lucky. I rained Thursday and poured Saturday but was absolutely beautiful on Friday!! I road up to the coba gazebo in the carriage with my mom, she walked me down the path, the my dad walked me down the aisle. The whole ceremony was beautiful. Food was delicious and the reception was a blast. I just got the DVD delivered last night. I was mostly happy with it. David and the entire bridal party danced down the aisle and the videographer got most of it but when he edited it he threw in a repeat piece of video that didn't go with the song playing. That was the only bad part. Oh and the fact I look 20 lbs heavier on camera. so weird but oh well. ASP was beautiful just like everyone has said. I can't wait to go back. Very sad it will be Hard Rock. I think it's going to ruin its charm. Oh and La Luna is AMAZING!!! Anyways...we fly home tmrw and I don't go back to work til Tuesday so I have plenty of time to post pics, write reviews, etc. HAVE A VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!
  18. Beautiful pictures!! So...I am at the airport. Went thru a bit of stress and a bitch fit when they said I couldn't take my carryon on full of vases, toasting flutes and sand ceremony vase on the plane with me. OMG I was about to lose it...even teared up a bit. Not a fun way to start vacation. But the lady at the counter saw how upset I was she asked her manager if she could let us go and she took us up the service elevator to avoid the lady checking the size of the bags. What a relief!! So we r sitting here just waiting to board at 11:50. Didn't get to finish my planning thread so I'll have to do it when I get back. Hope all u married brides r enjoying married life!! I plan to post from Mexico!!! XOXO
  19. Alysa - Congrats!!! You were so beautiful. Glad you had a great time and I can't wait to see your review.
  20. Hey girl!! I am kind of feeling the same way. And I have highs where I am really excited and lows where everyone and every little friggin thing is irritating to me. So weird. Haven't been sleeping well for the past week. I hope it all changes tomorrow night once we are at the airport. I am pretty much ready to go. Just some very simple things to do tomorrow and that is it. I kind of don't care about much else at this point. I just want to get there already. If anything is missing or not done or left behind...who the F cares LOL. I just want to relax and stop thinking and stressing about packing, checklists, to-do lists, errands and all that not so fun stuff. I want a mai tai in my hand and the sun beaming down on me!!
  21. I believe that is the normal daily weather report. You are always bound to get rain in the Caribbean!! You shouldn't worry. It will most likely be beautiful for all of our weddings!!
  22. Thanks. I was thinking I can re-wear things during my honeymoon and no one would know hehe. I'll probably bring 1 pair or jeans that I love and the capris and a few tops to mix n match to give me several options. The rest will be dresses. Thanks for your input.
  23. Well "I'm tore up from the floor up" as I like to say. I have issues with both feet, ankles, knees and hips. (I'll be in a wheelchair in about 10 yrs - told David to get ready LOL) I have had a few surgeries in those areas so I can't say whether my pain/discomfort was from doing Insanity or doing Insanity with the injuries I have. So to actually answer your question finally YES I do feel pain - sometimes the knee, next day the hip, next day my toes. The jumping takes a big toll on your body so it could easily be from that since its so much for your body to get used to. What type of surface do you do it on? I realized that when I did it at David's place on the carpet it wasn't too bad. When I did it at my mom's on hard wood it hurt a lot more.
