  1. I picked up my guava shoes and paired them with the peach sashes and it actually doesn't look bad, I feel so much better now
  2. Hi Chan, I'm actually paying for all of my guest to go on an excursion. I rented a private Catamaran sunset cruise which includes transportation and snorkeling.. Happy planning.
  3. Cam thanks for the amazing review. Looks like you really enjoyed yourself, that's really all that matters Maura love your slide. I'm using Sungold so I love to see clips. You look like you had a fantastic time. So happy for the both of you!! If you could highly recommend a restaurant for the reception and another one for the rehearsal dinner @ the Suites what would they be ?
  4. Thanks Brandy, I've seen this but I can't seem to justify the 100 sashes when I need no more than 50 of them and I spent $ on others. Trying to envision this peach, coral and guava look lol.
  5. Hi Ladies, I started my wedding plans with the colors Coral/Tan which I absolutely love. My save the dates, monogram and bridesmaid cards all went along with the theme. Then came the purchase of the girls dresses and the only color I could match to it was the "guava" color at David's bridal. The dresses have been purchased and now I have a dilemma. With all the variations of coral and now adding guava to the mix I feel like my colors are no longer jiving . I ordered table runners and chair sashes that are on the peach side :/ Are any of you using the Guava color and if so what have you paired it with? HELP!!
  6. couchkristen do you still have the sashes available?
  7. Question for all past brides that did not use Aunt Ruby's: Did you have to bring decor to spice up the restaurants? Most of the indoor restaurants have a theme and I can't imagine adding additional colors to it. Any advise you have would be of great help.
  8. Misee I really like your parasol. My issue has definitely become color. Coral and Tan are my colors but I opted for the Guava color at David's bridal. Now unfortunately my sashes and table runner no longer match and I'm afraid to purchase parasols that are too pink etc. I really did pick a difficult color
  9. brichards do you still have the sashes? Do you have a picture of them?
  10. Great Brie! Can't wait to read your review. Happy to hear everything went well for you
  11. Breeze thanks for the helpful review. Beautiful wedding . [email protected] emailed me back within 2 days, you may want to try her. Time goes by soooo fast omg I don't feel prepared. Has anyone ordered Parasols they are happy with??
  12. Caprice I suppose you took everyone's date lol. I'm getting married Monday the 16th since Saturday was taken. It did allow me to make it an eventful weekend though so I'm excited. I'm super behind, I won't be able to send out my invites until the end of February. I'm not in a grand rush b/c I already have an idea of who's going.
  13. Breeze they sure did a pretty good job on everyone's hair. You just made me feel confident about the hair situation lol. Those brides inquiring about Queen Bee. I've already done so and I didn't think all of the extras made it worth wild. The simple package includes a trial but you have to travel to Negril (definitely an added cost plus a waste of half a day or so). Then on the day of the wedding you have to pay a traveling cost on top of the services. Added up together I just didn't think it would be worth it for me.
  14. Breeze, Thank you! I'm slightly concerned about the makeup. But I'll be sure to take my own in case. I recv'd a few quotes but by the time I pay all of the additional fees for travel etc. I don't think it would be worth it. Did your husband uses any of the services there?
  15. Congrats Cami!! To all of the brides married at IRHS can you post your detailed honest opinion of the hair and makeup services at the salon?
  16. I chose the heart breaker package so I hope it turns out fabulous (fingers crossed). Also wish I could keep a secret! I will let you know how it goes
  17. Bride2B22 what day is your shoot? I'm booked with Jen on Jan 22nd and I'm super nervous lol. I'm not really photogenic and so I'm a little stressed.
  18. I live in NYC. Are you doing Eshoots during this time period as well?
  19. Maura thank you for the great review! Congrats on having the wedding of your dreams. The reviews help keep me at ease. 5 months and counting til my big day...can't wait.
  20. Thanks eholt! MsSmith- Loni emailed me but said she wouldn't be available but would recommend another artist so I have no idea what her prices are. Someone else referred QueenBee to me, when I emailed her she said the Sweet and Simple package would be $155, that includes airbrush, hair and a bridal attendant for 2 hours that helps you get dressed and retouches your makeup after the wedding starts. They also provide groom services, which I think my honey will definitely need.
  21. thank you very much. I reached out to Loni I think her name was and never heard back from her. I hope Queen Bee turns out to be a good fit for me.
  22. I went to Sephora and Cover fx worked the best. I'm just not sure if it will smear. I was told to use plenty of setting powder, I'm just so afraid of it getting on his suit throughout the day especially during pictures.
  23. I will be covering mine up. It's really loud and I don't want it to be the center of my pictures. Jenn what makeup are you using to cover up?
