    I'm getting married in April 2012 at the Riu Palace and am soooo super exicted!!! Any other brides for April 2012 and any tips to share? What location are you using? reception location? Photographers? We are getting married April 17 th at 4pm at the San Jose Gazebo and reception at Baja Norte.

    I think I read that if you bring an outside vendor they have to pay $300 fee and also have to show their working VISA if not from mexico.

    Has anyone booked their reception and dancing area far in advance? Or do you havce to wait a month or so before ? It would def be nice to have the booked and not worry about it!

    Hey Jen, We have just booked appts with a few travel agents , so hoping to narrow down some dates soon! We are looking into March 2012 . If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get your group rate for from this company? And did you get quotes from many other companies? How is your planning going? November is getting close ! you must be getting super excited!!

    Great! Thanks so much ladies! I think I have made my decsion. We are doing engagement shots soon, so I will wait and incorporate those into our invites with all the info needed to book!

    I am strongly considering eliminating the ' save the dates' and just sending invites with all the info and travel agent info. I have just heard that the majority of people who are going to come to the wedding usually book when info is available to them . Rather than send save the dates and get everyone booked and then send invites out 3 months before the wedding when most people would have booked already. Does anyone have any input on this or have done it themselves??

    I love the Keith Urban idea! I really want to go with a country song as well. It is such a difficult decision! I also am having a hard time picking a song. I am stuck on a few but nothing that is jumping out! I guess I will keep looking, Keep the song list going!!

    What an exciting place! We are officially starting our wedding planning, and I couldn't be more excited! I am also a Canadian bride - from Edmonton. We are looking into Cabo for next March. I am looking for referrals for an amazing travel agent. I think word of mouth is usually the best way to go! Happy Planning Everyone!

    I have the same issue with so many places to choose from. So many mixed reviews! I am still researching all the time! I am between Punta Cana and Cabo San Lucas now . Good Luck, and I've heard good things with Dreams Palm Beach!

    Just wondering if any brides were able to rent conference or private rooms for their dance past 11pm? It seems that most places like to shut down pretty early - and we have a pretty fun party crowd that would not be ready to shut down at 11. I know many places offer the public discos , but just wondering if any of you were able to have a private fun , late dance and if so, was the cost substansiably more?
