Hey Crys, Good to know everything is coming alongfor you !! HOw exciting . !! AHR = at home reception. We are booked at the Riu Palace for April 17 at the Gazebo at 4pm , then renting the Baja norte for our reception until 11pm. I am getting so excited Keep in touch

How is your planning coming along Crys? anything new and exciting? We are all confirmed for the wedding , and this week we are working on the guest list ( trying to make it smaller ) We decided that we want it as intimate as possible. It's the hard part due to the fact that we are not having an AHR when we get home. My fiances sister is having a wedding 3 months after our Cabo wedding , so we don't want to come home and rain on her parade by having a big celebration. Well I'm off, hope to talk to you soon !

We are getting married in Cabo San Lucas , Mexico in April 2012 at the Riu Palace. We are going with some family and friends and wanting to try out another resort alone for our last 7 days . Does anyone have any suggestions? we enjoy fine dining , and mostly just looking for a relaxing wonderful time ??

| think it's very important to find someone that you are comfortable with and you feel is knowledgable enough to handle such a large group. The first travel agent I went to was stumbling with her words and didn't seem very confident in the answers she provided me with. The second one I went to was on her toes, went above and beyond what we asked and was very honest, so yes, I think you should shop around. Planning a DW can be very stressfull so having a TA that is knowledgable and confident will help alleviate some of that stress!!! Best of luck.

Hey Kari, that would be fab, would love to keep in touch and exchange ideas and thoughts. We are expecting around 50 as well. I read a post on here earlier about a bride who had over 40 guests and they made her have a private reception because they had too many people. I didn't read that anywhere in the terms and conditions from the RIU, but you might want to look into it! In the terms and conditions, I thought I read also that you can't have music played at semi private due to to other guests in the resturant at the time of the wedding. I have been in contact with Sakura from RIU and she has been on the ball getting back to me quickly with all of my questions.!!!
