I think I am going to go with the resort photographer as our resort charges $300 vendors fee for outside vendors .. boooo, !!! But I have already convinced my fiance that I want Cinematic Touch ( Angel Zapien) to do our videography , so we have to pay the fee for him to come to the resort. I may be pushing my luck to get a photographer too. I am happy with the pics of the resort photographer though. Good luck to you all, post pics if anyone has any of the CAbo photographers!!

Hey Everyone, I saw a post regarding centerpieces but it was combined into what people were doing for their ' At home Receptions' as well. I was wondering what everyone's plans are for centerpieces for their destination wedding . Are you going with what the resort is providing ? Are you bringing your own? I am just trying to decide what do to, if anything. I am getting married at the Riu Palace. I was thinking of even going to Walmart in Cabo before the wedding and picking up some vases and going to a local flower shop in Cabo as well and picking up some long stemmed flowers. We are doing a black and white theme with Red. I was going to do long stemmed roses and also put some black 5x7 frames with some blackand white engagment photos of us around on the tables. Just would like to know what others are planning , or if you are bringing decorations down with you ? I would love hear your ideas, and see some pics?

Crys, So excited to hear an update from you. I was on holidays for three weeks and ahve thought about you and how everything was coming along. It seems to be all working out ! I am happy to hear that the reception may be a wonderful change after all! I am excited to hear how everything turns out and hope that you come on after wards to update us on your special day. How many guests did you end up having for final count? Are you using mango for photography? Looking forward to hearing from you, take lots of pics xo

Thanks ladies , love all the choices, keep them coming!!! I have thought of an idea, but not sure how well it will work. I want to buy one of those portable camera printers and bring to the resort and assign someone to take a picture of each couple ( or guest) if single or with their friends .... ( at some point before the wedding ) That leaves 4 days to get everyones photo at the resort. Then I want to buy some black 4x6 frames and frame their photo in a cute little frame with the word CABO on it , or something ... I think it would be different and it's something everyone can take home as a momento from their trip.

try Googling a resort map of the riu palace. I am just leaving on my way to work, but I did find one before and there is a key and it shows you where all the bars and facilities are on the resort!!

Hi, I am doing mostly black and white. Everything will be black and white , except my bridesmaid dresses will be lipstick red. My personal opinion is that I think black and white looks very formal which is sometimes hard to achieve at a destination wedding. Often there are guys in khaki shorts or khaki colors ( not that there is anything wrong with that ) but I just prefer the formal black and white look. I am keeping the linens white with perhaps some black and white engagment photos on our tables for centrepieces in black frames. I think it's your wedding, and you should pick what YOU want, its your vision and it's your wedding pictures that you will be looking at years from now, not your sister . Good luck. P.s you could always do black and white and perhaps maybe make it pop by adding some tropical flowers in the mix .

There is a link that has many cabo excursions. I will try to find it, but maybe just google ' cabo excursions' and there is a fantastic site that shows many categories depending what you are loooking for!
