Hi Everyone!!!! I just got married on Saturday the 13th and everything was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish that I would have listened to other brides and not stressed beforehand because it was really a waste! Pilar is AWESOME!!!! Don't fret if she isn't getting right back to you because when you get there you get ALL her attention. She makes sure all your needs are met and everything goes off without a problem. We had 55 guests and everyone was saying it was the best wedding ever. I'm on my honeymoon, but when I return I will write a detailed review and post pics. Derek Campbell was my photographer and I totally understand why he is rated #3 in Cancun. Lorena his assistant was AWESOME too and if anyone is thinking of using her for makeup and hair, I would say go for it! We had Alex as our DJ and he was FANTASTIC!! My gusts were so pumped they continued the party in the sports bar and we shut it down!! ok I'm rambling but PLEASE feel free to e-mail me with any questions before I post my actual review. Hi Irishdonna- I stayed at the resort during my site visit in mexico, and the bamboo room is a good size for a larger party. The festival terrace is a lot more intimate for your group size. I think the terrace is a beautiful location. The beach is right behind you, but it is covered so even it (God forbid) it rains, you are still covered. Hope this helped :'| Good Luck! Lesa

Hi Christie- Initially I wanted my the same set-up as you, but we decided on the pergola because it is a little more intimate since the rooms on the preferred side overlook the garden. We also thought we should have a little more beach influence since it is in Mexico and the beach is right behind the pergola without the hassle of sand (it was very windy when we went to our site inspection). We decided to do the reception inside because of the heat. My wedding is August 11 and I want people to dance all night without reservations. My ceremony starts at 6. Congratulations!

I love #1. Pronovias is my favorite dress designer. Either will be fabulous!

Hi Ladies- I am getting married in Riviera Maya next August but I am between two resorts : Now Jade and Azul Sensatori. The main thing detouring me from Now Jade is the menu. When we went for the site visit, we were told there isn't much room for customization, but our travel agent told us they are willing to work with us. Are there any past brides on the forum who had a sit down dinner for their guests? If so, how did the menu selection go?

Hello! Just wanted to introduce myself to the site. I am getting married next August in Riviera Maya Mexico. I'm not sure of which resort, but I am absolutely in love with Haciendas tres Rios. I also love the Now Jade resort and have been looking at Fairmont Mayokoba as an option. If anyone has any info or suggestions please feel free to share. My fiance and I will be checking out our top resorts in September, so the more info the better! Thanks!
