Thank you all! I don't think I would be stressing this much if there weren't this many people. I'm doing much better now.. waiting to get my STD materials so that I can put together my luggage tags- that will all be in this week and then my fiance is getting a nice Arts & Crafts lesson so he can help me. It is just SO overwhelming! Anyone have a checklist for thier DW that they are willing to share? I work such long hours I have no time to make one.

It is so nice to be surrounded by you girls! As I said in my earlier post, it is really unbelievable that people feel it is acceptable to act like this. In my case, I am from NY and my fiance is from South Florida so it would have been a DW for SOMEONE's side of the family! AND not only that- every wedding we have been to for our friends has been in their hometowns where nobody lives anymore so it has cost us just as much for flight and airfare as it would for this- and we going cold places in the dead of winter just for these weddings. So seriously- why do people even open thier mouths??

Aww girl I know EXACTLY how you feel! My fiancé and I have had more tears since we started planning than our entire relationship- ALL because of people saying these things. Guess what people!? I DON'T CARE!!! As I keep saying to my fiance- when I am completely, totally consumed by something- AKA MY OWN WEDDING, the last thing I need to hear are people being negative and giving me their opinions. Since when do people not even put on a good face and try to even PRETEND they are happy for you?? I would NEVER do what people are doing to us, the same thing that is happening to you. It is awful! Why can't people just say these things to other people and not to us?? I know EXACTLY how you feel, I have bawled my eyes out more times then I could count about this. I am a tough girl but this is just too much for me to take. People acting like idiots about this.. We will get through it, I promise. Just keep in mind that you are doing things YOUR way, no one else's. Take the attitude of "tough S*&t", they can spend the damn money. I've gotten there because of the people you are describing. HANG IN THERE- You are not the only one getting this. Stay strong!!!

Hey everyone! So I'm doing the whole vistaprint business cards into clear luggage tags for my STD's and I'm having SO much trouble figuring out an envelope color for these- they are literally EVERY color! I'm leaning toward the pink azalea color but I also love the Orange Flame and jupiter red. I haven't picked our colors for the wedding yet, I'm leaning toward the fuschia-ish color. Hi girls! I have NO idea what the etiquette is for this- we have a few friends who are in serious relationships with people but do not live together? How do we handle this? Do we pick one of their homes and address it to both or do we send two separate ones with both their names on it (pricey and seems counterproductive to me). Let me know what you think!

Hello! I need to send my STD's out ASAP and I am making my own luggage tags STD's using VistaPrint's business cards. I am VERY confused while I'm using the site. I don't understand how all of you are getting the business cards to be so customized!! Where r u going? What are you doing? I work an extremely high powered job, have two Master's degrees and yet I cannot for the life of me figure out this site! I feel ridiculous! Please, PLEASE walk me through step by step instructions of how you get business cards to be customized to how you want them. PLEASE!!!!! Thank you!

I love you all! We've already worked out most of the wedding details with the resort and such. We are all set on that. It is the small things I'm worrying about. I guess I'll ask my friends. I'm having a lot of bridesmaids (8 + 1 junior) and I've asked 4 plus the one junior bridesmaid already but they were all family so I've been hesitant. I just feel so panicked!!!! We are having a large wedding for destination standards, inviting 220+ people and expecting realistically about 75-105 to show up. So with all those people I need to get these STD's out ASAP!! Ughhhhhh!!!!

So I'm at work, minding my own business and my blackberry pings and I have an e-mail from the wedding channel stating my 9 month checklist. So I ignore it for a second thinking they must have the date wrong or something and it must be a mistake but I do a double take at my computer screen and what do ya know? NINE MONTHS FROM TODAY I AM GETTING MARRIED. I have every emotion running through my body right now. OH. MY. GOD. All we have done is that we booked a resort! I am not touching a dress until I lose weight- how the hell am I going to get one on time?!? NEED to send STD's Need to finalize my bridal party- btw- how early did u ask your FRIENDS? I've asked my fam but have been advised not to ask friends too early... GIRLS I AM HAVING A FREAK OUT! PLEASE HELP!!!

And yes ladies, I'm so glad I'm not alone in my love affair!! So I've been planning for a little while and just somehow registered on this site yesterday. Needless to say, I'm at work right now hiding in my office from my boss so I can post this... I'm an addict. This is amazing. My other friends planning normal weddings have no idea what issues we are facing by doing this and don't understand how different this is. You all get it! Just thought I'd tell you how amazing this is to be surrounded by brides that are planning the same type of wedding as I am. That's all!!
