Can I ask you guys something? Dreams Riviera was my first choice for my wedding but after looking at the prices for the rooms, I thought it would be unrealistic to ask people to stay for that price. We are having close to 100 people and I just thought the prices were insane. Do they give REALLY good group discounts or something? I feel like everyone is having their wedding there and I was just wondering about that... PM me if you can about this. I am REALLY curious.

We called everyone we wanted to know but in the middle of the phone calls my best friend's fiance (I had JUST called my best friend) posted something on our wall about it. Since we weren't near a computer when it happened, it came to my blackberry and we finished the REALLY important calls (aunts, uncles, grandparents) and just posted it. If he hadn't given us away on there, we would have waited until we were done making all the important phone calls. We got through most of them before it happened. My grandmother would have felt hurt and out of the loop so we thought it best to let them know.

Is anyone else's fiance sick of you girls talking about the girls on this site? "Well this one said...." and "That one has the same problem we're having.." lol Oh well, he's got another 9 months of it!

Word to the wise, don't try anywhere in NY. I am from there and the prices in the city and LI are the sole reason I am having a DW. I've heard the coast of South Carolina is beautiful....

Hi! I am a royal cancun bride for April 2011 and I've been talking to a girl on here who had her wedding in May of this past year- she said they DJ they provide for the money is AMAZING. I am having over 100 people so I am def using them.

My wedding isn't until next April and I'm sure there is a thread on here about this somewhere (I just couldn't find it) but I am DYING to know- with all the preparation we are doing to ensure we find the right decorations, make all the right DIY projects, how are you actually getting your stuff down there? I feel like by the time I go there is going to be SO much stuff I want to take. My wedding coordinator at the resort said not to ship anything, that the Cancun shipping often gets broken, damaged or lost. She said my best bet was to bring it down with us but in that case we will have 20 suticases! I am having (most likely) over 100 people at the wedding, so that is a LOT of extra supplies. How is everyone else bringing your decor, OOT bags, favors, etc??
