lol I totally understand the FI not getting the favours, decorations, etc....I'm trying to sell my FI on why we NEED Tiffany chairs for our wedding...fun times E-shoots cost-wise totally depends on photographer, when not getting them included in a wedding package (we are NOT using the photographer who did our e-shoot for wedding pics). We shopped around, and I got quotes from $250 (for an hour plus digital files) to $1000 (for 2 hours and digital files). We ended up paying $550 for an a la carte e-shoot, which included 2 hours of photography, all of the digital files colour corrected, and 30 shots edited. I must have contacted 100 photographers in the Calgary (and Edmonton!) areas....a bit of a photo-nut!

It's never too late! Lost of couples are starting to do anniversary shoots, so that's always something to keep in mind! A great way to celebrate a milestone, and an excuse to get your hair and makeup done, dress up pretty and have some gorgeous photos to frame!

Thank you Pam & Sandy! Sandy - you must, must, MUST get them done! First, you get gorgeous pictures. Second, it's a great way to practice and see what works for you and your FI in photos (angles, etc.). Third, it's soooooooomuch fun! My FI had me laughing for most of it, but it was such an amazing, intimate experience! How come you're on the fence?

Ok so one of the first things I noticed when I joined the forum is the love of Passport and Boarding Pass STDs. Other than the one's made by Ceci New York (take a look at the gorgeousness here: http://www.cecinewyork.com/wedding/rto.php?s=savethedates&d=jetset ), which are like a bazillion dollars (oh how I love thee, letterpress), I couldn't find any that I liked. They were all....missing something I wanted something really vintage-y looking, and here's the final product! Our vintage Cabo Postacards! I just printed them on really heavy linen cardstock and voila! Perfection I'm most excited about the back, and that my FI were able to create a list we entitled "Greg & Nat by the Numbers." Very cute, very personalized, very us I would love to say that I designed these bad boys, however, after a few attempts I went onto my never-fail website (ETSY!!!!) and found the lovely and talented Melissa (her shop is called ItsMelC). She was so fast getting these to us!

It's true! This is off the Los Cabos Tourism website, and I've been told by Dreams as well (2 days): "Typically, two to four days must be spent in Cabo San Lucas to complete the requirements, although less time may be required when a wedding coordinator is involved." Talk to your WC! Basically it's as fast as they can get it done.

Boo, it's that reason specifically that we decided NOT to have a legal here first and do everything in Cabo. We're also lucky in the sense that we're only required to be there 2 days before, not 4 like in other areas (which is a long time, and not possible for a lot of couples!). I understand your FI not wanting to call you "wife" because it will take away from the ceremony you;ll have in just a few weeks!

Janine you're too funny! I can't find my camera cord; I don't know where Greg put it!!! Sister is coming the weekend of the 15th, and then parents the weekend after that, so the decision will be FINAL on Oct. 22!!!
